Rush Poker has found it's way into my heart so to speak, I have profited quite a tidy sum playing it in low stakes, yet sometimes it can be so cruel !.... Tonight I flop a straight flush, naturally none of the guys in the hand with me want to play even though I checked the flop, and made a small bet on the turn, so little value for the hand....Most big hands end up that way, I find more profit from suited connectors than big pairs !

Later on I flop a set of 9's and get them in good after the turn only to have my opponent hit his 2 outer for the win on the river, damnit !

I have saw AA several times, but it usually doesn't get anyone to play with, once tonight I saw two people with AA and the same with QQ, suprisingly neither time did one of them make a flush...lol... Rush has a pretty high rake for the size of the pots, but I find that if I follow the suggested strategy I posted in a blog, I am winning more than losing almost every day !...Here is a link :

It is my goal to win $50 a day for 5 days a week, and limit myself to losing $30 if I can't get something going. It really doesn't seem that hard to get $50 or more on most days, sometimes I get it faster then I thought I would, and want to play more, but I am proud to say that so far I have been able to resist. I have left a quick Rush game and tried to sat into the $750K a couple of times though, thinking I was on a heater and had a good chance....yeah, right....lol...
One thing that playing Rush does to you is makes you wish there was a quick fold button when you play a regular tournament...lol.. I joined TMHawk11's tournament tonight, and kept looking for that option, I won't say it caused me to be real impatient, or really affected my game, it was just that I wanted to see the next hand at a little faster pace...lol...
I hope there are others having success playing Rush, I sometimes see fellow Railbirds on the Apollo table (my favorite), if you see me playing there, hit the "sit out next hand" button, and I will do the same so we have a chance to say hi proper !
....Tc....
