Freeze UP is Missing !

Feb 6, 2010 5:56 pm Report Abuse

Once again, at a crucial time in a big hand, Full tilt froze the part of the site that had my table on it !... I was able to do anything on the site, except play my hand !...I had flopped a set, bet them, was raised signifiantly so I pushed all in, and as soon as my opponent called, the screen instantly froze ! Here is a shot of it :

I knew the balance in my account, I had it written down, so after getting logged back on, I clicked on the play button, and to my suprise, the pot had been added to my stack, I was estatic, needless to say, so I played the hand out, won a little more and cashed it out to start over with $10 again. On the last part of my session I had a big hand flopping a full house, and taking down a big pot in a small game, so I banked it and quit, $77 ahead for the 45 minutes of play.

A short time later I was wondering what that guy that called the all in had in his hand, so I went to the Hand Histories and looked. I went from the bottom all the way to the top of the listing, and couldn't find it. Now I look at my histories all the time, I have looked at a lot of other peoples histories for them over time, and I can assure you, I don't miss much ! Preturbed, I started from the top and worked my way all the way to the bottom, and didn't find the hand again !

By this time I am almost upset, so I SLOWLY start at the bottom and work my way up, this time I am looking at the amount of money I have at the start of the hand. Finally I find something that suprises me !...The hand that froze obviously didn't make the hand history, I found the amount that I started with, and in the next hand I had doubled up, but the hand that doubled me was nowhere in sight. I copy and pasted them exactly as they appeared, and here they are :

Seat 6: Schiene0815 didn't bet (folded)
Seat 7: Topcat1954 showed 6d5d and won ($2) with a pair of Sixes ....winning this hand gave me what I had to have for the frozen hand to work out mathmatically

Seat 8: kardfish1 (button) didn't bet (folded)
Seat 9: Maffyew (small blind) folded before the Flop

there was no hand shown between these two in the hand history !

I guess I will never know what my opponent was playing, but it really doesn't matter, what does matter is the hand played out without me, and I got the money !....I guess that is somewhat comforting...lol...This tells me to be sure when a screen freezes to wait long enough for the hand to play out if you are all in, you just might win anyway !.... This is only the second time my screen has froze, and the other time it was in a hand I got P.O'ed over, here is a link :

The curse of playing on line worked for you that time. Good luck. I hope it continues.

One more thing. I'm glad it froze up after your winning hand and not before you got to bet it.

I hate when I know I have the winning hand and can't get the betting tabs to bet and I end up getting folded.

Cant you request the hand histories? I know you can on stars, just send an email, they probably still have the HH on file (i know stars keeps them all for a YEAR minimum...wwwowzers)

HempHog2 Feb 6, 2010 6:10 pm

Great job on your winnings TC.

The new beta HH might have the history saved for you, in my promotions you can request any hands at anytime.

You got me curious to know if he was on a flush draw or just a pp. lol!

If you do get the hand history please post it here so we can see what this dude was playing allin.

Keep up the good play.

It appears they only keep Tournament Histories there HempHog2, I can't find anything for Rush. In the section called :Last login details", it says there was a "Local Re-Login" during my last session, whatever that means !.... There was nothing else effected by the freeze, I could do anything I wanted on Full Tilt, and open a new window in Explorer also.... Who knows...lol... I am guessing he had Ax possiably 2 pair, going nearly all in on a draw doesn't make sense, even though we see it all the time !

That has happened to me before.

If you email FTP with as much detail as possible (What time, HH &/or game #, buyin, etc) they will be able to find the HH for you and email it.

They did for me once

why do u think this is happening topcat. has anyone else experienced this??????????
foresight000 Feb 6, 2010 7:00 pm

i think rush poker is brilliant the amount of hands u get through is awesome.
yes u normally have to play uniform poker but with all online poker it is more bout the cards than the players anyway.
Also i dont think people can check ur stats with this neither could anyone confirm this for me? ty

Hell yeah, I've experienced it. Dude raised, I had AA and re-raised; he shoved all in and my screen froze up.....BUT, so did the whole system, so they added time.......but after they said it was FIXED...mine WASN'T and it wouldn't allow me to call the all-in, instead...folding my hand. I can't tell you how pissed off I was at FTP for that one. However, whatever hand the dude had...he was big stack and would have most certainly won vs my AA anyway...so it's probably irrelevant anyway........

At least you got to the end of the hand. Be careful, curiosity killed the cat. It looks like a flush draw to me Tc.
djharmon Feb 6, 2010 8:17 pm
i have beend disco'd also in hands like that , TC and I couldn't find my particular hand either........have to be connected to get your hand history , I guess, since it is stored on our PCs........

Winning that was about like winning a pot with 7-2 off. I hope your luck stays that good all week {lol}
