Might have thrown a lil raise after the turn but then again that might have scared them off just depends what you put them on, if you put them on a flush to then yeah raise a bit after turn they still gonna call, but over all I would say you played it well least since you made the hand, still kinda wondering about the 1800 raise after the flop without your hand made yet but it worked, so over all you got 4000 of your 5000 chips in the pot and got called so yeah its good. lol

not knowing what they have cause of a very wide range they have showed, would a dump been as good, or a value bet is perfect?

i think so if you are happy with the chip you won but you may have been able to get more as after the flop he payed 1800 and between the turn and river all you made was 1400 more i think he would of payed more if you raised after the turn thinking maybe it was a follow up bet

yeah think a raise on turn in order to extract max value, esp as he called such a huge flop reraise, u raised pre, flop & river why check on turn which is the hardest street to get people to fold on? NH tho!

Ray,

think you played it well.

A raise when the turn card completes the flush pretty much announces your hand and would result in opponent folding there or most probably check/folding the river.

The flat call of the min bet on turn gives the appearance of an incomplete hand and adds deception.

Further more if your opponent has a hand like 7h 5h it gives him a chance to make his hand and get stacked off.
