    STEVE MCCNAIR DEAD!!!

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed. Police said McNair suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville.

    The incident happened near 2nd South & Lea Ave. Police said it looked like a double homicide. A female victim was also found dead.

    Horrible news. Steve was a good guy from what I can tell. I don't know why anyone would want to kill him.

    Very tragic. He was a great guy and not just cause he was a great player. He did alot of stuff in the community all around Tennessee and back in his home state of Mississippi.

    Even though I wasn't a Titan fan, I always appreciated his accomplishments. Coming from a small school (Alcorn St.) and being I believe the #3 pick in the draft was really something. You'll be missed Steve, RIP brother.

    No Harmonicat, he was found dead in his home with this female victim, whose name has not yet been released.

    Update: according to police sources, the female was McNair's girlfriend, and the shooting took place in her condominium... perhaps a scorned lover?
