Results of the Main Event
Krafty3333, who had the points lead in the player of the season standings, did not enter the Main Event. This left two top contenders, SilentBobAK47 and MCMplumber, to battle it out to see if they can win the award from Krafty3333. With 17 entries, SilentBobAK47 needed a minimum of a 4th place finish and MCMplumber a minimum of a 2nd place finish in order to win the Player of the Season award.
MCMplumber did not show up to the Main Event for the first hour. He did arrive in the second hour and got moving to try and get the 2nd place finish he needed. SilentBobAK47 was knocked out of contention after he busted out of the Main Event in 11th place.
After one more elimination we got to the final table. After some lucky river cards MCMplumber had a stack to battle with and it started to look as if he had a pretty good chance to win the award. When HyperDova busted out of the tournament in 4th place the remaining players were in the money. Edl69 was so short stacked that MCMplumber's chances to win the award were very high. And sure enough, after felting edl69 in 3rd place, MCMplumber was heads-up with Kiwi_Kel for the championship and MCMplumber clinched the Player of the Season award.
Heads-up between MCMplumber and Kiwi_Kel was fast and furious. Before too long, the two were even in chips then MCMplumber took a big chip lead. In the final hand, MCMplumber raised with 
and Kiwi_Kel moved all-in with 
and, of course, MCMplumber made the call. An ace on the flop gave MCMplumber a much bigger lead in the hand and a brick on turn left Kiwi_Kel drawing dead and MCMplumber is your season four PTT grand champion!

As always, the winner of the tournament will be added to the PTT Hall of Fame.
It was an up and down season for this man in a season that saw many names sitting atop the leaderboard. The only time though when sitting atop the leaderboard counts is after the final event. After falling from 1st to 3rd MCMplumber won the Main Event which put him back on top for the last time. MCMplumber is the season four Player of the Season!

MCMplumber's name has been added to the Player of the Season plaque.
Every PTT champion from every season will be invited to compete in the third annual PTT Tournament of Champions on Sunday, May 30th. Watch as PTT champions battle each other in a no limit Hold 'em Heads-up shootout for a chance to be the new PTT champion of champions.
Special Message from the General Manager
Once again, you awesome Railbirds have made this latest season of the Poker Trivia Tour one that I certainly won't forget. This season had it all, from first time winners to multiple time winners. A lot of records were broken this season including a consecutive final tables streak that will be very hard to duplicate and a battle for the most bracelets that will certainly continue into the fifth season. Finally, the Player of the Season points race. What a race! The dedication of many of you players to make it the closest points race in history was just great.
I don't know if next season can top this one, but I am sure that it will be another great season of poker. Thanks to everyone who has continued to support the Poker Trivia Tour to this day. This all isn't possible without you.
