RBCL II Play-Offs Wk 1 MONSTER vs CANUCKS - RESULTS

RBCL II Play-Offs Game 1 MONSTERS vs CANUCKS This week we had to play an old enemy of ours - the CRAZY CANUCKS! We expected a tough battle - and we were right to do so! They played absolutely great the whole game and really made some of us worry! First they outnumbered us with 29 vs 22 - but in the course of the tourney we MONSTERS could manage it to bring it down to 12 of us against 6 of them!!! But before I come to the tourney itself I have to thank some special MONSTERS who made this win possible! First off the very generous benefactors who gave 3 of us the buy-in to play! Thank you so much, steph1488, BongsRule, and F1ngers!!! YOU ROCK, GUYS! Second - my absolutely wonderful and hard-working wife Fuzzable for doing a FANTASTIC job in getting us all together in this game! If not for her we would have been only 10 and not 22 MONSTERS in this one! Thank you so much, Lori! But now to the game itself! 51 MONSTERS and CANUCKS were ready to fight this game of honor and glory!!! It was the biggest turn-out we ever had in an RBCL game!!! FINAL TABLE (Sorry, no pic here! I was so excited that I forgot to make a screenshot! lol) 4 MONSTERS vs. 4 CANUCKS!! (Yes, only 8 - I went out in 9th place in the same hand with DeathRow1260 before it came to final table.) LAST 9 Place 9 - Seldric Ok, at least 10 pts from the leader... So far so good - now we only had to take out one CANUCK in 7th or worse to win! LAST 8 Place 8 - ACardExpert And that was it!!! At this point we had it - since a clan needs 205 pts to win! But 1st and 2nd make only 180 pts together, and the CANUCKS had only 15 pts so far! WOOOOOOOOOT! CONGRATULATIONS! LAST 7 Place 7 - buddmanbob Out on the bubble! Sorry, bro, but... GREAT GAME, MY FRIEND! LAST 6 and ITM Place 6 - SPUDDER47 Another great player who had to accept the superiority of the MONSTERS! But there was still one left - and he didn't want to go down without a fight! LAST 5 Place 5 - ATTICUS22 Good game, bro! You and your 'Ladi' are on a roll lately! Way to go! LAST 4 Place 4 - GOODWOOTER But even he had to go in the face of our irresistible power! Great game, bro! And again we had 3 MONSTERS in top 3 of this tourney - just like in Week 11 against the Wizards! WAY TO REPRESENT! LAST 3 Place 3 - DEVILBROZ VERY GOOD GAME, KELLY! It was nice to see you play with us again! LADIBUGG22 vs DENNISC98 Now it was all about the MVP trophy! LAST HAND Runner-up - DENNISC98 AWESOME GAME, DENNIS! But we still have to talk about that hand when you took my bride out! LOL CONGRATULATIONS, LADIBUGG22! MVP for 3 times in a row!!! AWESOME!!! You're getting better from day to day, hun!
