question for you online "Pros"

O.K. I was going to ignore it but this kind of twisted logic is exactly the kind of thing that totally distracts people from the facts and I can't stand when people try to use it to prove a point that has little or nothing to do with the actually facts.So please bare with me as I shine a little light on this smoke and mirror trick.

You state and I quote"How can you prove it? Through statistics. We've all heard the anecdotal evidence, but the truth is, " then you ramble on TOTALLY ignoring those very facts.

#1. The math geniuses from M.I.T. actually tracked milions of hands and using a Cray Super Computer they found the statistical out comes to be with in the EXACT same range as playing live.

#2. Dozens of Governments, Financial Institutions(who are HIGHLY REGULATED) private and publicly funded both PRO and ANTI-Gaming have ALL tracked milions of hand histories, and ALL OF THEM, these supporting and those against on-line gaming have ALL CAME TO THE EXACT SAME CONCLUSION. IT's EXACTLY the same statistical out comes as playing live.

#3. Hundreds of Histories greatest poker players have played hundreds of thousands of hands of on-line poker and came to the conclusion that it has the EXACT same statistical out come as playing live.

#4. For more then the last two and a half years the Worlds most respected independent accounting and auditing firm of Price Water-House has been conducting on going , on site audits of both Full Tilt and Poker Stars and guess what, they have found NO annomolies out side of the expected statistical out comes as you get playing live.

As for your paranoid dellusions about "So they flag you. And the next hand you play, an algorithm determines which hands are most likely to get the "silver medal". The hands are shifted a little (nothing is changed except the recipients) and suddenly, you're seeing a lot of QQs that get called by AK and lose, KKs but only when there's an AA on the board, or called by an AQ and hit by the flopped A ..... there are 1000s of possibilities, and they're almost always 'correctly' played, but you seem to find yourself on the losing end of "that's just poker" hand-after-hand-after-hand-after ...." all I can say is there are thousands and thousadns of players who regularly cash out some of thier funds and continue to average their normal level of play.

Your theory that they go out of their way to blatantly screw poeple they desperatelly hope will come back and play more is COMPLETELLY INSANE.

The STATISTICS ALL PROVE that the people who play better win more, the ones who play worse win less, and it is ALL EXACTLLY IN THE KNOWN STATISTICAL RANGES WE KNOW ANY 52 CARD DECK WILL GIVE YOU, LIVE OR ON-LINE

The only way your little fairy tale works is to go off of the "anecdotal evidence" and TOTALLY disregard every known, proven, verified scientifically gathered,FACT!

There is a basic principle in science that states " Any extraordinary theory requires extraordeniry and over whelming evidence to even be considered"

And an other that states " When there is more then one possible explination for any thing you always go with the simpliest most logical one"

Both of those direct us to concluding that since the overwheming scientific DATA says it's NOT RIGGED, and all that is left is "anecdotal evidence" IT'S NOT RIGGED!!!!!!!

Well said Ironman. Hopefully people will come to reality and realize bad beats happen in live just as much as they do on live poker.. It Is Not Rigged! Its POKER!

Thanks for the input Ironman, I do appreciate some of the things you say, however you mentioned a few things as fact, and I don't want to just assume they are fact because you are saying they are, I would like to know name or these "regulators". For instance if there are all these people checking and double checking who is paying them. Honestly does a site really care? I appreciate how dedicated you are to your view about online poker, and mine was just a simple question, as I am sure there are people out their that do make money full time playing poker, after all, we all have a "friend of a friend" that made 100k last year right. Anyhow, I would love to here other opinions.

It feels like there is much more bad beats when you are playing online because you can play hundreds and hundreds of hands in much shorter period of time. If you play the same amount of hands live there would be about the same amount of bad beats as online.

Or at least that is what I think.
