To all at Railbirds,
I would like to thank everyone at Railbirds for their help and support in the past couple of months. Today I made my first withdrawl ever from
ftp and amazingly enough, I have never put money onto ftp. The Railbirds freerolls are amazing and give beginner poker players like myself the opportunity to build a bankroll from nothing. Railbirds constantly gives out quality information through posts and blogs and everyone looks out for each other. Plus without everyone, I wouldn't have the quality competition necessary to improve my game.
For those of you who are beginners like myself, I've got a couple of words of advice.
1. Play poker because you want to
have fun and
relax. Every once in a while that donk out there will hit their 1 outter on the river, but that even happens on the final table of the main event of the wsop.
2. Bankroll management is very important.
Every poker player has good days and bad and even I have lost 30 bucks in a day (huge for me). Don't play higher limits than you should. less than 100, play dimers and $1 or $2 sngs or $1 mtts. slowly scale up from there. Take advantage of sattelites. I've won 2 tokens and did really well with both.
3. Continue to
support others and show the world that the railbirds community is the place to be. If you see a call for railers, stop on by and show some support.
Keep a look out for people who need help in the forums or blogs.
4.
Be involved. We all have good ideas (and some bad, woops) and use this opporunity to help others.
Once again, Thank You Railbirds For Everything and See You All on the felts!
please bump up so I can thank as many people as possible!
