my railbirds winnings

Nov 21, 2008 1:41 am Report Abuse

This past weekend I won a Railbirds freeroll (over 40 beans) and since then I have been doing pretty good. Still thinking I was hot at razz, I went to a .25/.50 table and made a quick 5 droolocks. With this five bucks, I used it for the entry fee for a sng (6.50) and won it. The next day I won another one and placed 2nd in another.

I'm not sure what happened, but it seemed like Fulltilt is just giving me the money because every hand I went for, every pot I bluffed at, I won. For some reason it just seems too easy and I am waiting for that never-ending string of bad beats- but of course I wish I can win.

I have read most of the tips offered here, and applied what I learned (raising in certain spots, and calling and betting in others to sum it up) to this one particular game- but maybe I went too crazy because I fell into a trap. I was out a few spots out of the money, even though I could have folded my way to the cash, because I forgot a simple rule: I had lots of chips and did not need to gamble, especially so close to the money.

Hope you continue on your winning march, but happy to see that you understand that it could all turn around no matter how good you are.

Congratulations. It is nice to get on a table with passive players and seated in the proper seat.
