Omaha H/L good starting hands

Nov 21, 2008 1:09 am Report Abuse

I can't find any really good sites that show good Omaha H/L starting hands. I did see one that said AA is not a very good starting hand. I've only played a few times, but it looks like Flushes and Boats are a bit more common in Omaha than no limit hold em.... soooo, what are some good starting hands. If you're playing tonight, I promise to not destroy you if you give me advice!

best hand for low is like Razz... KEEP A23 IN YOUR HAND.. forget about aa etc... you will either get a straight or boat.. but the best low hands is 4 low cards with 3 appear on the board..

man, theres a LOT to omaha hi/lo.. but ill try to give you a quick crash course

now keep in mind, im not the most experienced hi/lo player

2 pair usually isnt good enough.

boats are commonly beat by other boats

good starting hands are around the lines of Railbirds card: AsRailbirds card: 2sRailbirds card: KcRailbirds card: Qc etc... that way you have the low and the high possiblities.

the flop, no matter how beautiful it may look to you and your hand can QUICKLY turn into your worst enemy..

im sure some others will give you better tips. i would give you more but im involved in a couple tourneys right now im trying to play and type.. good luck!
