FullTilt or Pokerstars

Nov 20, 2008 10:13 pm Report Abuse

Hi to all,

it is a bit funny, but i lost half of my bankroll in 4 weeks on Pokerstars. I worked hard for it, to get my bankroll up to 300 ,-$ (5 months) and so I was so confused, that lost half of it in 4 weeks.

I thought I can't play poker anymore. what have I done wrong. I've always lost with best hands, even AA (7 times in a row, against hands like 7 2 o).

So before I lose the rest of my BR I Transfer some money to FullTilt.

What a move. in 2 Weeks i could let my bankroll grow up to 300,- $ again.

When I play now on pokerstars, i always get so angry when I lose, I just close the site and play further on FullTilt.

I hope, that I can reach 400,- $ soon and I hope, that the Winning-Time comes back to Pokerstars too.

Bye plenty succes to all Birdies.

yeaaaa
most of the people say that PS tend to be a joke, but fulltilt gets the same comments

I dont really like PS graphics... i think fulltilt looks better and has a lot of better players

I have play on pokerstars and its true... having the best preflop hand.. is not always gud and players are really bad in there... they do call wit 72....

u raise preflop and ya see 22A and ya think ya in gud shape wit AK while they have K2 A2 72 or some weak hand

YEPPER I have been having that very kind of luck on stars too. Gotta take deep breaths and leave it alone for a while, hack hack, cough, cough,, just today in the rb freeroll as in all freerolls, had a all in every hand kind of player, we were all waiting for good starting hands, then calling and he was knocking us all out, I called with pocket kings to his all in with 9-6 os yes its true by the river the 9-and 6 were there>> I came here to read and fume lol oh well there is always the next 1 lol

It's the same on both sites. I've had my runs of ups and downs, more so on full tilt than on Stars but I play on full tilt more. With you saying that you get frustrated as hell when you get beat on Stars... I would seriously consider not playing there for a while because with that mindset, you are already expecting to get beat or have some huge suckout on every good hand that you have and therefore you won't play perfect winning poker on that site due to you're subconsious fear of the suck out. On the other hand, you say that Full tilt has better players, Well In my opinion I don't want to go where the good players are, I want to go where the bad ones are...

Well, I will let pokerstars be pokerstars. i will stop playing there for a while and save my bankroll.

That's the better way. Only a few freerolls perhaps.

Ty for your comments.

Gl. to all

internet poker is internet poker. u guys think that they set it up, but in reality take how many hands u play in 4 hours of computer play. go to a house game or casino, and count the hands u play. u see so many sick beats, b/c u see way more hands on the net. plus playing low stakes poker u have the guys who play everthing like 27. thats not the websites fault that donks play. just a thought. gl to u wherever u play. poke her junkie: )

I know pokeherjunkie, you are right. But it is a bit funny, because you win and win and win over many weeks, and suddenly you can't reach the money anymore.

It is of course not the websites fault, but I think it is allowed to think a bit over it and to hear some other experiences.

you will always have upswings and downswings, what you have to do is have proper bankroll managements skills. you will have to endure losing streaks, it happens to everyone, but good players win over the long haul.
