yeah lon whats his face is the man lol. They are prett cheesy, but then again, it is hard to make poker exciting and they try to so ill give it a B-. Gabe kaplan is the best imo

lol yh because norman chad says a funny joke but then ruins by going on about his x wives too much lol

I thought about buying Norman Chad a hooker for Christmas. I'm sure good old Norman would really enjoy that! As always GL at the tables...Mikey

Lon Mccarein or something like that. Norman is the worst though. His jokes hardly ever even make me smile let alone laugh. He has about 2 or 3 good saying over the entire wsop seaon. Not good. I think Lon tries hard not to hit him on camera and he does a good job

The "play-by-play" guy is Lon McEachern; his last name is actually pronounced more like McErren (which is eerily similar to the Vegas airport's name, McCarran). I agree, Norman Chad could probably stand to cut back on the ex-wife references -- we've heard them all now, Norm, move on -- but he's worlds better than WPT's Vince Van Patten, whose patois leans heavily on bad puns and analogies related either to the venue or players' day jobs ("Phil Ivey really put the anasthesiologist to sleep with that bluff, Mike!".

I, too, enjoy Kaplan the most, but that may in part be because I grew up in New York and I remember "Welcome Back, Kotter." I was somewhat surprised to learn recently that he was the WSOP color guy for a while.

Norman is cheesy, but he makes me laugh. They are both very enjoyable to listen to. I couldn't imagine having different hosts for the shows.

If you listen to some of the old WSOP broadcasts prior to Lon and Norman on PokerTube or YouTube, you will really appreciate what the two of them bring to the table.

you know, they have become such a staple of the WSOP viewing experience that I feel like it would be weird to watch it without them. Kudos to them both and I hope they will be talking about some of us in the near future

i liked the live comentary from daniel negrano,,he was drunk on rice and bear and very insiteful,,,plus they were having fun with it

Indeed, the High Stakes Poker episode in which Negreanu and Kaplan traded places was hilarious. If Daniel ever tires of the tables, he's got a future as a poker-caster.
