How do you call a moderator on Stars?

I don't usually just rat them out.

I give them a "zero-tolerance" warning.

They do it again I say nothing and just report them.

No its not dirty especially when they are clearly talking about the hand. I would allow a little bit if it seems just friendly but other than that it clearly says English only chat so you did the right thing

well i assume that you first friendly asked then to respect the chat should be n English before u call the chat administrator- `?

and then its totally fine to call them, . if they dont respect it.

But just to go ahead for it ever time u see a non english word in chat for making CHIPS / tilt bussines off it would maybee to much, and think the other way around u sure get some "friends" as will play u as hard they can..

and that not neesesarely each time would be to your advantage. !!!

I had the same problem yesterday in the FR on PS with the Brazilian bunch. I was on the final 2 tables and had 4 at my table and they had like 4 railers too. All were speaking in their native tongue. I asked them 3 different times to speak English only. They would say sorry then just go back to chatting again in their native tongue.

I went up to the chipstack to Call Moderator and it wasn't there. It was at my other tournament but not on ours. It really sucked. They weren't rude well to a point. They continued speaking in their native tongue though instead of English and this was RUDE after being asked 3 times politely. Oh and not one of them were in our screen name's database, that doesn't say they weren't Birds but it was highly possible.

You did the right thing. It's a rule of the site and you never know what they are talking about. It's unfair to everyone else at the table.

not all pppl can speak english (or bad like me) so just give them a friendly warning and when they r nice and clever they will stop it

Same thing here as A55, I politely ask them to speak english only and let them know if they continue I will report them. Some heed the warnings while others just start berating you... regardless if they don't abide by the rules they get reported.

Also, there are many translation sites out there that will allow you to copy/paste and translate...

that english only rule doesn't apply to full tilt does it ? 'cos that sucks ass. i'm english and i talk in french every now and again just for my own amusement. and frankly the standard of a lot of american english is pretty poor anyway. basically, if i was german or french i'd be insulted if i wasn't allowed to talk in my own language to a fellow countryman at the table. and even if it's to do with people hustling down poker tables and working together in games, english people can do that using msn messenger or something like it in a separate window, and chat so other people can't see

They do not allow it in a casino either.

I use to give a "warning." However, the last million times I did, I was verbally abused. Now, I just call the mod. Period.

The call mod is not available in freerolls, only cash games.

You can email, but when I did, I didn't get a response.

Now I use the translator and if they are talking about the hand, then I email ps with that info.

They had no business talking abt the hand in another language, you did the right thing.

No it snot dirty snitchin or any of the above. When you sign up and agree to the terms on PS one of the things you agree on is ENGLISH only at the tables. You are lucky they took there chat because every time ive called and reported it the moderator just reminds them that it is english only and lets them be ith a warning. I call the moderator every time im at a table like that. If it was play $ i could give 2 shits but real $ they could use that to there advantage. I agree with what you did and I hope u will report every 1 that is speakin another language!

no it is not dirty, it is helping other folks to be able to play by the rules as set the site.
