How/when do I become expert member on Railbirds?

Nov 19, 2008 10:56 pm Report Abuse

Yes, I had a question regarding becoming an expert member on here A.K.A. having becoming turqoise color. My current status here at railbirds is 'beginner' and the pink color. Obviously when you first sign up you were a novice. I very quickly turned to a beginner though not long after becoming member here. I wasn't sure if there was something I had to do or possibly something I had to accomplish to become considered an expert on here. I was thinking it could be a few different things such as maybe winning a freeroll, amount of time you have been a member, how active you are, etc., etc. I mean I have been a member for over a year, won two Railbird freerolls, and been very active so don't think it is that. I would appreciate it if somebody could tell me how my status changes to expert. Is there anything I need to do or at what point will this happen?? Thanks for the people who respond with answers and as always GL at the tables...Mikey

Dude, I've been as active as I can be for like a year and a half.

Just give it time, although I think the system is flawed.

First of all, your status has nothing to do with who you know or how good you are at poker. It's how active you are within the site it's self, by commenting on blogs, posting quality blogs, uploading pictures, etc.. the more active you are the quicker your status will change.

Don't sweat it though as we're all treated the same regardless of color.

Enjoy the site and what it has to offer...don't sweat the small stuff.

by posting blogs, updating your page, answering blogs, etc you will become an "expert" here; it has NOTHING to do with playing poker

I have convinced myself that I will be a pink bird for my entire time here. Doesn't bother me, even when I see people become expert after being here for a few weeks. If I become blue, great. If I stay pink, great, it does not change what I do on this site so it is merely a colour.
