LOL! Well it seems you got a lot of chips. How did you bet it? You didn't tell us.

all depends on how the hand was bet

Without seeing the betting that went on it's hard to help.

If you post the hand history from the tournament that would help us better to see chip stacks, blinds, raises, etc..

but regardless, nobody should be calling anyone names.

THere isn't nearly enough information provided here to give a response. My guess is that you called a bet on the flop with nothing but two overs but then again, maybe the bet wasn't big enough to keep you out of the hand (depends on who bet, who called, chipstack sizes, size of blinds, pos. of players, table image, perceived style of opponent, etc. etc.). If it was yourself leading out with a c-bet on the flop after possibly raising it up preflop and he flatcalled, then I see nothing wrong with it.

If he was betting and then being called, did he consider that he was betting into a made straight on the turn? Who knows??? Way to hard to put something together with this hand without alot more info. (at least the betting sequence).

BUT,.. then again, they're your cards,... you can choose to play them however you wish. If you want to call pot-sized bets on the turn even, possibly drawing dead then by all means... go for it!! There is no one 'right way' to play a hand. There are some considered 'winning styles of play' though.

I think the last comment is right. Your hand wasn't bad. But of course you had some luck too.

The worst thing is, that the losing hand calls you name.

With that hand you had. I have seen plenty of other hands like J5 offsuite and they call 6-7 BB preflop raise. And win, because the river gets them a flush.

But if they want to play it. Then the have to do it. That is poker. That happens everyday.

I wish you good luck.
