Call my THOUSAND AND HIT A STRAIGHT ON THE RIVER YOU !@%#@

Nov 19, 2008 7:28 pm Report Abuse

Just got crushed on P stars I had top two pair and a guy called my bet of 1000 to hit his straight on the river. I don't know why i am surprised cause this happens to me daily. I am getting tired of playing a seemlessly flawless tournament and then getting busted out with some garbage hand just had to vent i know i am not alone on here. . . .

I hate suckouts, gotta keep grinding though. Do your best to play mistake free and over the long run you will come out on top.

it happens..some people make bad decisions..or in this case it was a good decision on his part. Maybe he thought you were bluffing? Or maybe he had outs and you priced him in. You should post a hand history so people can help give you some better feedback!

No you are not...the last 2 months ive been playing Ive been sitting at the computer in tourneys for an average of 3 to 4 hours and getting bumped out on some1s lucky draw hitting on the river. Toward the later rounds of every tourney I just feel like a doubling up machine for lucky fish

Yeah definately not alone it is so aggravating. Fight for an hour or more to the final 2 tables or so and have some guy call ur raise preflop and push allin on the flop and catch his only card on the river to win. It seems to happen continually to me I use to be nervous of catching aces early now i am afraid of catching them late in a tourney when I should want them.

1,000 dollars or chips? Was that 2xBB or 14xBB?

Best of luck.
