I dont know if anyone has seen the news from the UK lately, but theres been the most heartbreaking tale you will ever hear thats emerged recently.
A 17 month old baby was tortured to death by his step father. The tales of his suffering are literally beyond belief, and though it pains me to do this, I fell everyone should hear of what the little one went through in his short and terrible life.
When doctors performed an autopsy on the child after he died they found over 60 bruises on his frail body. His fingernails had been ripped out, the ends of his fingertips had been cut off with a stanley knife, he had been punched so hard he had swallowed his teeth. The worst thing of all is the little child had his spine snapped where the stepfather had dropped him over a bannister rail. Such was the horror this little mite went through in court the judge had to stop proceeding so that the jurors could compose themselves. Even the hardest of hearts couldnt help but feel something..
The abuse the child went through doesnt even bear thinking about. He was sat on the floor and the stepfather made his Rottweiler dog bite the child between the legs. He would be thrown against walls. He had his hair all shaved off, and all this whilst his mother and a lodger stood idly by and watched. Amazingly, all three have been cleared of his murder because the judge could not decide who had actually inflicted the fatal punch that killed the child. The three have been jailed for failing to protect the child...
The facts of the case are bad enough, but the worst bit is yet to come out. The child had been under the watchful eye of the Child Protection Services who had previously arrested the mother on suspicion of child abuse. The police had recommended that the child be taken out of the household and that for his own safety should be kept away from the house. The Social Services ignored their pleas. A social worker reported her concerns and even went so far as to contact her member of parliament to voice her worries. Were her concerns taken seriously ? Not in the slightest, the social worker was sacked for whistle blowing.
The child had been seen by a doctor 48 hours before he died at which point his spine was broken and he had fractures in several bones. The doctor completely missed all the injuries and reported the child as being safe and well. SAFE AND WELL WITH A SPINAL FRACTURE AND PARALYSED FROM THE WAIST DOWN.
The catalogue of catastrophe is never ending. Time after time the parents were quizzed by the police and yet each time, despite the polices strongest protestations, the child was returned to the mother. Eventually the polices worst fears came true and the child died.
How can this happen in modern day society. Where a child is literally murdered under the watchful eye of a government agency supposedly there to protect him. Where the police had begged the social services to take the child out of the home yet the social workers ignored them.
Not one person has been sacked over this. Not one person has resigned. Not one person has even had to face a disciplinary hearing. A doctor fails to spot a child with a broken spine, social workers ignore warning signs and ignore the polices requests. The head of the social services even went so far as to say as far as she was concerned they had done all they could under the circumstances.
WHAT KIND OF WORLD ARE WE LIVING IN....
Not only should those monsters be hung. they are not fit to live on this planet. But theres people in authority who should do the honourable thing and resign. No, actually they should be put up in a court and prosecuted for criminal negligence. Their inaction and incompetence means an innocent 17 month old child lays in an unmarked grave whilst the perpertrators live the life of luxury being looked after and protected in Jail..
As I say, what kind of world is it we live in. If this is how society is these days, then stop the world. I want to get off....

WoW thats fu**ed up i dont see how the judge didnt give them life damn if i was a judge i would make suffer like that child did or worse
Sickening. Why couldn't the social services people see that his fingernails were ripped out? Why couldn't the doctor? As far as I'm concerned they're all guilty of negligent homocide and should be jailed and not allowed to practice in their profession ever again. This is as bad or worse than the little girl in New York a number of years back. Does the public have any recourse? Can you all write to members of parliment and demand hearings into why the social services people didn't do their job? Seems to me that public outrage should cause elected officials to sit up and take notice. I read this and am totally sick and angry. Only bright spot in the whole thing is that he won't have to suffer any longer and rests in the arms of God.
The cruellest bit is the parents have been given anonymity to protect them.
They are being given 24 hour protection inside to prevent other inmates getting to them and when they are released they will be given new identities and police protection to stop people taking revenge.
They shouldnt have jailed them. They should have released their names and pictures to the press, then thrown them out onto the street after telling the public where and when they were going to do it..
I know they say Sharia law is barbaric, but in this instance, even a public stoning and execution is too good for the bastards.
What a heart wrenching story. May his little sole finally rest in peace. You see this sort of negligence every day. I agree the mother, law enforcement,doctors,case workers should be put to trial for this attrocity. There is not enough punishment for the people involved in this horrific story. I do know 1 thing this lil boy is now in the loving arms of our Lord and Saviour. RIP little one.

i had to read it twice because it brings tears to my eyes to here of such atrocity towards children that cant protect them selve and to here the whistle blower got sack is just the way our socitity want to hide it discrace in this matter we had the same thing here in canada but we conviced them of child neglect causing death they now are in jail for the rest of there lives and the social worker in charged was fired for not reporting the neglet to athoirity and there name where not hide for socity

wow!!! i had to stop reading this blog cause it just gets to me. but im not saying its a bad blog.
i have many kids myself and couldnt imagine of being that way and this soooo breaks my heart.
in fact on the news here in the u.s.a. last night was a story of parents filming thier toddlers and other toddlers fighting; a 4 or 5 year old stepped in to break it up and the parents pushed the 5 year old away saying they were not done yet and let them fight.
the dad did stop it only after one of the toddlers was bleeding so bad. the scums posted the fights on you tube. but now has been removed and the state has taken the kids away and are in the middle of putting them with family members who will take care of them properly.
and yes i have seen this sick behavoir like you asked before it it turns my stomach.
i am sorry i couldnt read all your blog, and i know grown men shouldnt cry but as soon as i got to the fingers i just started balling like a baby and stopped.

The sad thing about all this is the Budget thinking individuals that make the call. When something like this happens they go back into their 'bolt hole' and let the juniors take the rap. When it all blows over they creep out and get their Knighthood. Time and time again, Inquireries take place, people wring their hands, and say systems are now in place for it not to happen again. Surprize, surprize, it does happen again and we go through the same loops again.
I believe that Criminal action should be taken against the authorities when this happens and accountability but squarely on the bosses and not the workers.
Every like thinking person knew this would happen again but no real action against the decision makers will take place. They will sit back, take their inflation proof pensions and carry on as normal.

So sad,but the baby is out of harms way now,and not feeling any pain where he is now,and those ppl need to be prosecuted to the fullest,but they are allowed to go on with new lives just to have another baby,and most likely do the same thing to that child also,its so sad.It seems the most they will get is to burn beneath us when their time is up,cause the good lord wont them into heaven.God bless the little one,may his soul rest in peace.
