private tourneys on FT only 19-21 p.m.

Nov 19, 2008 2:18 pm Report Abuse

Hey,
I'm living i Lithuania (EU) which is +2GMT which is 8 hours above the FT time. This means that the tourneys which start at 19:00 FT time, in Lithuania start at 3:00 am, the ones which start at 21 p.m. FT time start at 5:00 am in Lithuania. Basically, this is the worst time for me because this is the time when i sleep Unfortunately, there are so few tourneys which start at the time which is good for me. if you look at the list of private tourneys right now, you would see that all the best KO tourneys like potkings smokeout and the sharks underwater start exactly at the worst time for me which is the worst time for most of the Europeans. Why is that so? Don't players from Europe have clans and make private tourneys. if it is so, then maybe it would be a great idea to start one on my own? thanks in advance for your opinion in comments

You definately should!! I think it would help a lot of our European players. I suggest talking to the different clan leaders and get some advice about setting up your own tourneys. Good Luck!

Check out the Private Tournament Schedule and you can see that there are often times, especially on the weekend, that are Euro friendly so to speak such as the Flopadelic, the RITJs, and I believe that a few times during the month the Muckijng Monkey's have a 16:00 est or somewhere around that time tourney.

Here's the link to the Schedule, in case you need it. Just click on it and it will take you to the page. If you find a tourney you're interested in, just click on blog link to learn more details

Also, I meant to add that most of the clans have members from all over the world, so they try to accommodate as much as they can to all their clan members.

Check out the Pokeroo hosted tourneys. They are on around 4 - 4.30am Full Tilt Time.....which would be around lunchtime for you I think. Anyway they are on every Monday. This coming Monday is a H.O.R.S.E. tourney (Phar Lap's Pholly), the following Monday in NLHE (Pokeroo Open, then Razz (Razz With The Ross, then NLHE (Pokeroo Open) and they rotate like that every Monday. Personally I don't play the H.O.R.S.E. tourney (Good at the H and R....but suck at the O, S & E LOL) but I usually play the NHLE & Razz games (they are on in the evening for us down under). Maybe I'll see you there in the coming weeks.

Chimpy is my clan leader and is a great person to ask questions to. Also StormLindgren is our Co-leader another good resource. Poker WIzards rule.
