Late Success

Nov 19, 2008 5:16 am Report Abuse

So I cant place it but I have been running really well for the last couple of days. Final tableing my last 5 or so tourneys. I wish I could say what it is I am doing now that has changed my game. It is certainly not the cards. I have my moments of running card dead for what seems to be at time 20 minutes or so. I just want to think its knowing my position, more aggressive preflop betting and having the discipline to fold marginal hands.

Anyone else want to share what has improved their game? I sure could use some more advice.

One word.... Patience....

the trick is maximizing win and minimizing loss.
altho this is a simple statement...
takes monumental control for execution.
like you said, if you wait out your dead card streaks (20 minutes... not
really a streak) then you can maybe get the right double-ups
down the road to make final tables.
to me... 1 whole hour ... is more like a dead streak.
