Hey railbirds, Im going to start a poker blog on the site, where I write some updates of my bankroll, maybe some recap on some wins, and some reflective insight on what I think is happening with my week to week poker trials.
I am going to start on Nov 18th, and my post today will be a recap of the last 3 weeks.
I took 2nd a few times for $72 at pstars and my bankroll was at a high of $330.
I try to keep a buy in ratio fairly low b/c this is a total across 8 sites.
For about a week I play bad, and dont have a shot at a lot of set up hands. But I manage to win a tournament HU against Tony Guerrra for $25 at R.Poker, not to mention I took out KK a week prior...so its kidna a cool thing for me, and know I have a decent bankroll there.
I loose some more buy in to larger tourneys and realize a few things about what problems im having during games.
Understanding and Overcoming: You must diversify your gameplay.
I go bank to my bread and butter Double or Nothings and make a sweet return on my bank.
#1 Problem, The amount of 180 person tournaments I was playing was a large percent of my bankroll.
I receive a 5k bounty ticket to Cake, and I ITM with 3 bounties. Which turned a $17 bank to $47 which is nice.
I take $5 to the cash table, and end up walking with $17 in about 30min.
Mind you most of this is one day.
#2 Problem I was getting my head down.
This causes many changes to your game that you dont even know...
The second I took down tony I gained a little upmhfff and brought back the loss about 85%.
Lets see what I do this week
