Hi to all.
What's going on in Pokerstars???
That was the Pokerroom, where i used to play poker. I've done that now for 2 years. Since i try to play poker more seriously, my bankroll got a bit bigger, without transferring money. I could cash in some MTT's and i could win in SNG's too. I began after playing a year really bad, with 5$ in my bankroll, which is now grown to 300,-$.
But in the last two months, i think there is something going on in pokerstars. There are so many unbelievable hands, (Unbelievable like AAAA loses against Royal Flush) that can't be true. It is not only once, that happens so often, that I think now, it is better to play in another pokerroom.
Since I play poker in FullTilt.com, my bankroll is growing again. Besides, the people there are not so aggressive like in pokerstars. There you get blamed the whole time. That's not fine. I couldn't see that on FullTilt since now.
I'd like to ask you, if you have made the same experiences.
Have a nice week and have a good game.
Good Luck.

I know what you mean but what is going on I couldnt tell you.
I am finding hat the unbelievable hands always seem to happen to me when I am just about to go deep in a tournement and looking at a nice prize.
The number of times I've had the bad beat suck out to stop me doubling up and getting into the serious money is unreal..
Maybe its just coincidence but like you, I am seriously thinking of giving PS a miss.
I just saw a video of wsop where where AAAA lost to royal flush. So I tend to think it happens everywhere. My other hunch is that a site like pokerstars usually averages 100,000 people and deals millions of hands a day and probabilities of such hands are more likely.
Yes but its all relative.
Just because theres more people playing its doesnt mean each individual players chances of suffering a bad beat rise... The odds of a suck out happening to you with each hand remain exactly the same whether theres 200 or 200,000 people playing all at once.
My concern is about how come its getting to the stage when I can predict when the bad beats are coming. I go into hands, see what the opponent has and by the time the flop comes I know I've lost. Not I think I may lose. I KNOW I've lost
The other night I was in a great position to get into the serious money and I hit AK on the button the flop comes over A K 3. I raise, villain shoves all in. He turns over A 10 unsuited..Sure enough he hit the straight...
Its becoming too predictable now. Get close to the serious money and you get cracked by crap..
Only tonight I was in a tournament shortstacked but a double up would have got me a nice earner. What happens I get called by 10 5 offsuit when I've shoved with KK and he hits trips. And no he wasnt a big stack nor a shortstack. He had just an average hand. When I went to check his OPR rating guess what.. HE DIDNT EXIST..
I dont care what anyone says, somethings not right. No one would play in a $11 buy in tournament and call raises with 10 5 offsuit.. not on this earth..
Well, I don't think there is any collusion by the sites,.. I do believe that some are far far luckier then others!,.. some here say I'm wrong, but I get the chips in with the best hand 75% of the time and yet I am a losing player?,..
I watch Gus Hansen raise large with junk and he gets called and wins!!!, that is luck,.. all the top pros are luckier then the rest of us,.. there is skill too, but when the skill is equal, the winner is lucky!
I think aggression is a part of it too,.. people get frustrated with an over aggressive player,.. but luck is the main factor,.. so gl y'all,..
