just luck

You know those people that play and just call because they are feeling lucky at that moment in time? is that a bad because i think it is. i feel you shouldn't call a hand in less you have something to back it up? like those people that call with a 2 8 off suit and some how get a full house or two pair and win a big pot. for example i was playing pocket aces betting the max that i could at a live game and this guy call with 8 2 off suit and he pairs his two. i again raise the max that i could and he still only has his 2 paired on the turn. i once again raise the max that i could and he calls me again and he paired his 8 and he ends up winning. the worst part was at the end of that hand he goes i just felt lucky and there was only two of us so i had to call. that to me is just the worst poker ever.
