I'm PUMPED!

I was watching poker last night. On the computer. I know, I know, I need a life. But, such as it is, the FTOPS ME was on, as well as Event #24, and the Sunday Mulligan. Actually, the ME is still on as I write this. Nordberg just got eliminated in 17th place, and was last pro standing. Some great poker, and some of the rails are HILARIOUS. But I digress...... a lot...

So, while this is going on, I'm playing some freerolls, and sucking as usual. Some bad beats, some bad reads, some out and out bad plays, and it's just me and the Pros again. I've been playing in some SnG's daily, usually the 9 player $1.25 SnG's, and I have earned a FTP point each day so far this month towards the IronMan freeroll. I had EXACTLY enough in the BR to finish the month and earn a berth in the $2k freeroll. As long as I won at least a buy-in back. Or two. Something like that. So, since it was after midnight I figured I was good to play the one for Monday. A $1.25 90 player double stack. Perfect to kill some time and, win or lose, earn that point. After 2 1/2 hours it got down to HU, and 10 minutes later it was over.

Wooot Wooot. This win more than doubles my BR. I'm not ashamed to say that it feels pretty good, considering I had about $15 when I decided I would try for the Iron Man one-a-day freeroll. I've tried to do it before, but I've always missed a day somehow or another. This time it's gonna get done, even if I lose every single SnG I enter between now and the end of the month. The only thing that could mess this up is if I have to work when they hold the freeroll. Anyone know if you get a ticket to use anytime or just when it's scheduled?
Have a great one, Birds
