final table

Nov 17, 2008 2:21 am Report Abuse

The TV airing of WSOP final nine that aired this past week in my opinion was a bit of a let down. I think there were five players left with like 20 mins left to air. that means we missed alot of good poker.

no doubt they could have showed more, maybe make it two two-hour shows, but overall I thought it was done well. I liked the theater setting, and I think it was an improvement by for over previous years.

There is always room for improvement. Let's see what they can do next year.

I agree completely, with the 4 month build up to this huge Nov. 9 event I figured we might get at least 3 hours on ESPN. Or I wouldve been satisfied if they did one of those 2 hour type special no commercial broadcasts, With one or two huge title sponsorships behind it. They really couldve built up the marketing and the viewers I feel would have been happier.

Very much a let down in my book. They did not even show every hand played. They should have played it straight through the tournment.

They did a pay-per-view last year. If they did ii again, would have you paid for it. I was working last year and couldn't do it. I agree, I think a lot of pretty good hands were missed so ESPN could fit in a two-hour window.
