TheRedButton MUST READ

Nov 16, 2008 10:54 am Report Abuse

This is about the red button on ps on the upper left hand side of the table.

Ok so if you didn't no already you can see everybodies cards in a showdown regardless if they muck it. I've always thought if you call a river bet and lose, your cards will be mucked but they are not mucked entirely.
By clicking the red button you can view everybodies cards in a showdown and with this information you can find out:
  • if they are a calling station
  • What bets you need to make for them to call
  • What they will bet with certain cardsl
  • what they will generally play preflop
  • and much more
This also means that you need to be weary about making certain showdown calls because other players will be able to see your hand and also find out this information
Read and BUMP this blog so every rb knows this and can use it to their advantage. What i do not get is that if ps are going to show the cards in the replay why dont they just show it in the hand saves ppl having to go into the replay

I have used that to see a lot of hands so I have a better idea of how and what people are playing

same thing on ftp, in last hand view

The good news is that the mucked cards are only viewable by the players sitting at the table, anyone watching from the rail will be unable to see the cards that were not shown at the table. Fulltilt's "last hand" button works the same way. I can only guess that they justify showing mucked cards to players so as to compensates for the absence of visible tells you would get in a live game.

actually they show them, because it's the rules of the game. At anytime you can ask to see the cards if someone played to showdown

My hand history will not show me mucked hands. The text reports "Player mucked" and the visulaization doesn't show cards. Is there some way to turn on mucked showing?
