When The Vulgar Ones Play Poker

Hello fellow railbirders: I am going to be blogging on the costant use of profanity on the tables without any context to what is being said or by what is going on at the tables i.e. playing poker. Now i know i will get the 'why dont you mute them " remarks from many. I can honestlysay i have yet how do you mute a horde or people. I mean this phenomena has so taken over the tables we now have observers saying "FU" on such a continuous basis. These are not players who represent this very site! Perhaps i missed something maybe these players have a disease that causes them to act in such a mannar, maybe they weren'r brought up right, maybe they just cant help themselves. I just think no i know they could care less about what they say to anyone. The sad thing is even here on Railbirds players cannot be called out regardles of how pathetic they act on the tables.

I ask you when was the last time any of you were in Vegas, AC, or Reno? Have you observed continually verbage such as 'FU" or other quaint cuss words? I dont think so in fact just being loud can get you thrown out of some poker rooms! On televised Pro events do we see players cursing continually? No and im not talking about "The mouth " here. On televised events you see the players focusing and discussing the game at hand not being abusive in their language! Perhaps i am old fashiioned. I mean i came to play cards and expected others to do the same! These online abusers even take to using such language when they get beaten in a hand . Wow talk about sore loser, is this is what the pros do berate and curse continually or do they mute?

We pride ourselves on having freedom of speech and this is what makes our country a great one. With that is the freedom to choose what you will read and to what you will listen; no one is required to pay attention to anything. I have a difficult time seeing those who have commend of but one adjective as capable of making statement at all. If some people choose to express themselves in terms which turn off a major part of the players that’s their problem. I for one think that you are a foul-mouthed boors, it shouldn’t be surprising that this is the way they are all the times. They have defined themselves and their purposes quite well not by their actions or their good deeds not by strength but by contiually taking the low road and being vulgar .....
