Morning everbody and

Looks like we made it through another week, and still can't really complain much bout the weather. Kind of chilly yesterday along with little rain. But at this time of year, even that is good. Could be waist deep in snow. So guess kind of lucky looking at it that way. I hant been on here much for the week. Been kind of busy. For one thing, spent time at my sister's place. Least ways for the past 2 days anyways. Lots of errands to get done, and other things that kept me on the go.

Should get a call from where I took venison today. Leting me know they have my slim jims done. Can't wait to sink my choppers into them for sure. Should have a bunch of them. Found out I can freeze them, which makes it good, cause kind of want to save some for later on. Though they keep for long time, but by freezing them, will even last longer.

My brother-in-law Dick, went out hunting yesterday morning. I think he may have gotten what is known as BUCK FEVOR, cause his first shot as would have it MISSED. Second shot hit it, but guess the buck decided it just wanted to evaid him,and took off to parts unknown. Even went out till dark last night, saw it again, but one more time took off. So Dick went back home with his tail tucked between his legs. My mrs sent away and got me a pair of boots that zip down the side, hoping I could put that dang foot in them. Well got them last night, and got lucky, I can get themon. Bothers a bit, but at least can wear them. So now Saturday I will go out with Dick, and hopefully show him how it's done. If i'm lucky enough to see a buck, and can get a shot, I will have it. My trusty ole 35 rifle just don't miss, and with the 200 gram shells I use. Once hit, tears them up, and don't go nowhere. I want to show him, ole hillie still has what it takes. Not that I would rub it into him or anything like that. Or at least not much I think. Course my sister you know her as nance51,would like nothing better then to get on him bout how he was showed up by an ole man. Oh my, he sure would have some choice words for the both of us.

Hard to believe Thanksgiving is just a short time away. This year going tomy oldest daughters for dinner. Makes me happy bout that, cause I don't think i will have to do much in the line of cooking, as of yet anyways. I know i will have to make the pies cause always do. This year, think I will make an apple pie (which for me, I have no use for). Then make a pumkin, lemon meraing and I think a strawberry ruhbarb pie as well. Give ya my recipies when I make them. As you already know, one thing i don't dois stick to basic way of baking anything. Most always have a twist or so to add. Nothing worst then a bland tasting pie, got to have a littlekick to it,or just hant worth a hill of beans (as my granpappy used to say)

Hant been out in my shop most of the week. So still hant got the dog house done yet. If I get the time, may be able to go out and work on it today. Hant got a lot left to do on it,and found it don't get done by itself.

Spent a lot of time this week on my next vidio. After lots of fustration and do overs, fineraly got it done. But my part was simple compaired to what my dear friend sweets has ahead of her to do with it now. But no dought about it, she will master it. One thing I love bout her, she don't give up,or let something get the best of her. So it should be out before long. Far as I know, got 3 more to do before I give your poor ears a break.

That's bout it from this part of the world. Hope ya all have a wonderful week end. If ya see somebody without a smile, give them one of yours. They cost nothing, and are so priceless. Put a smile on your lips, happy thoughtsin your head, and a twinkle in your eye. Ole hillie loves ya all.
