Nov 14, 2008 5:50 am Report Abuse

I have to sound off after what management did to my beloved Brett Favre here in Green Bay! Jets WIN! 34-31 over the New England Patriots. go Jets! I have become a Jets fan after they traded Favre to New York Jets

Cant stand mrs Rodgers and yes i have met him! what a sissy, just my opinion

hahaha....always good to have another person added on to the jets "fanwagon"

i been a Jets fan for life and this is the most excited i been for the team since they were 30 minutes away from the superbowl in 1998 (friggin elway)

this game had me sweating towards the end,i cant believe the catch moss made with 1 second on the clock to eventually tie up the game

but Dustin Keller was huge all game and Favre (surprisingly) didnt throw and INT....

J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS IN 1ST PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! W00T W00000000000000000000000T

yay for the jets.. i hate the pats

but im a dolphin fan.. and dolphins rule!!

Brett retired. I don't blame the Packers for moving on. He was the caouse of his own soap opera. I would hate it if Matt Hassleback announced he was retiring, and then coming back months later and say, just kidding, I am back. Brett should have thought of the team before himself, and noticed that after his retirement it was time for the team to move on without him.

Way to go New York Bretts!!

I am a Jets fan only until Brett isn't playing for them. I understand why the Pack made the move but it isn't the move I would have made.

Go Redskins!!!

Dear cheftrayner, i just need to say this............ i have played and started 3 years of college ball and i was in my early 20's my body to this day , i can still feel the damage that was done to my body.......i was a running back, nevertheless, how can you blame any person in their late 30's and ask them to make a decision after a tormenting year of hits and aches and pains? I know i didnt want to play a month afetr football season eneded, i needed time for the body to heal! Second im from Green bay last 20 years and know quite a few people there............. its not Brett, its management, trust me when i tell you this.

cheftraynor Nov 14, 2008 4:46 pm
dear johnny, ive been in milw for 40+ yrs and i know the general concensus around the area.i agree with you to a point but did we not sens a plane south to get brett for negotiations and he sent the plane back?we made EVERY consorted effort to keep our beloved brett in the game to be snuffed.how long should we put up with this?grant it aaron rogers is probably not our answer but weve moved on.perhaps if hed made his mind up earlier to play wed have welcomed him with open arms but as spiltbongwater said he brought this soap opera on himself.were you at the practices in green bay?were you at the fanfair?i was and a vast majority of ppl agreed with decision.just because you live in green bay does not give you the right to decide for the whole of green bay.this decision has literally divided a state.its very unfortunate that the packers were put in this situation.ps,if your such a green bay fan then you would back your beloved packers.i have from dan divine till present.

Hello cheytraynor, i received your response and we both can agree to disagree. Yes we need to move on and i know he should have told team he wouldnt make decision till july, but whats done is done. The whole thing.......ur right, has split the state of wisconsin. I spent alot of time also on greenbaypressgazette.com and love to read the blogs. Its very apparent how it split so many fans. The whole thing was a mess and a no win for nobody! We will be lucky if he goes in the hall of fame as a Packer. He is obviously pissed at management.....my feeling is he wont unless or until TT/MM are gone
