Pocket Q's, a good hand? I don't think so! Twice today, after a flop of all under cards, I go all in. Foolish me, flushed out of the trny both times. lol, next time I get them, just gonna fold pre-flop.

Ilike this hand. Don't fallinlove ith it,but can be very powerful against an under card flop. Don't be afraid to fold it post flop and there is potential to double up.

just call or raise then dont go all in lol

I was up against big stacks both times. Maybe that was my mistake. Don't mess with the big stacks lol

I just had pocket Qs and the 3rd one came on the turn only to be beaten by 8 9 10 J Q .... I feel your pain I am just glad I didn't go all in

3rd best starting hand. Yeah, just throw it away.

KK's throw them away too. An A always hits on the flop.

AA's throw them away too. Always loses to a set, 2-pair, or a straight.

AK looks good, never wins.

Just fold 'em all. But if you do, would you mind sending them my way? Thanks!

You were destined to lose with this one.

The only thing that may have saved you would have been a bigger pre-flop raise. After there is a limper into the pot, when I have a big pair I usually like to make more than the standard 3x the BB raise.

But my guess here is he had a much larger amount of chips than you did, so he may have called an even larger bet.

The other thing that may have saved you, which I have read a few times in different books and articles (more related to fixed limit than no limit), is to only call his lead out bet on the flop. Then if another suited card does not hit on the Turn, then you can push. If another suited card does hit on the Turn, you are not putting any more moeny into the pot.

That would have left you really short on chips though. So like I started with, you were probably destined to lose all your chips on this hand.
