To all new railbirds.

Hello and welcome. I would like to take a moment to share some thoughts with you. We do not play poker here at railbirds. We are a community of poker players. So if you are new to railbirds, and new to poker, please take the time to read what interest you. If you’re playing for entertainment, welcome again and have fun. But please respect some of our more dedicated players who are quite passionate about the game. If you are here to learn, welcome again! The railbirds group has every level player there is. If you are comfortable talking with a novice, we have them! And we have some very nice ones that love to chat it up! If you prefer someone more serious, maybe mathematical, odds hound, position nut, or maybe a little mix of all the above? The point is this; they are all here, and our common interest here is poker. Please consider that the person commenting on your blog, or offering you opinion, may be at a totally different level, both in poker, and in life.

We all must respect each other’s opinions and acknowledge that we are going to disagree. But to function well as a group, we must be receptive to another’s comments, advice or opinion. What you do with it is all yours. It is just like the radio dial; don’t like what you hear, just change the channel. We ask that you be respectful and considerate when offering your opinion or comment. We should also take note that language barriers sometimes taint a good intention. We are a nesting group of railbirds, that means we must tend to the young, and comfort the old, (hehehehe LOL) but we do that as a family of poker players.

The starting point is most certainly the FAQ section on the left side of the screen there. And if I know my birdie family, there is going to be a whole lot of links posted on this blog. And if you don’t know what “bump it” means, you soon will, (another LOL, you will get it later) This is just my way of putting a little warm welcome out there to the green birds in the nest. There is some really great links on my page as well as many others pages. Please enjoy checking them all out. If I can assist you in any reasonable way, please just PM me. I assure you that I do not mind. I enjoy it.
