excuse me if Im out of line...but poppies are used to make heroin..everyday we have heroinvictims too...would look odd to me to wear one...no offence..It just struck me odd.

Hello,

We noticed that you have decided to host a private tournament.

Please consider having your tournament posted on our Private Tournament Schedule.

That will do 4 things for you:

Increase attendance.
Remind members that it is happening.
The winner will earn entry to our monthly Tournament of Champions.
Prevent any possible "drama" when the winner finds that they won a tournament not listed on our schedule & they will not be invited to the TOC.

Our basic submission guidelines:

1) For one time tournaments post the information in a blog.
2) For a DAILY or WEEKLY tournament post all the information prominently on a profile page. Post blogs regularly to advertise. We offer other options in our guidelines blog, but this is our preference. We will NOT update the schedule with new blog links every day or week.
3) The information posted on the blog or profile should include: Tournament Name, Day, Date, Poker Site, Time, Game&Limit Type, Buyin&Rake, Payout%, & any other specials (Knockout, HeadsUp, Turbo, etc.). If it is a Knockout include the amount payed per KO.
4) If there are bounties posted on Astrogini's Bounty Blog, a known poker pro is playing in it, or it is a charity tournament tell us so we can add special icons when we put it on the schedule.
5) Send us a PM with ALL of the above information. Include the profile or blog link!
6) Either post the password publicly or post the names of the RB members that need to be contacted to get the password. We do not need the password ourselves.
7) Once the tournament is completed send us a PM with the winner's RB & Poker Site names so they will be added to our monthly results blogs & will be invited to that months Tournament of Champions.
8) You should also be aware that blogs more than 2 weeks old do not appear in the latest blogs list when they are commented on. For suggestions on handling this advertising snafu please read this blog:
http://www.railbirds.com/blog/179386.

Comprehensive instructions can be found here:
http://www.railbirds.com/blog/156505/pts-tournament-submission-guidelines.html

We hope you understand that with the amount of work going into the schedule we have to have some guidelines set.

Thank You,
The Masked Duo

Schnarlf in Canada there is a famous poem written by a veteran of world war 1, it is recited here in Canada at the 11th hour of the 11day every year in remebrance of our fallen soldier who fell in a poppy feild called Flanders feild, We understand that poppies are used in the process of the manufacturing opiates, that is the evils of man, we in Canada proudly done a poppy on our right lapel over our heart, and have a charity run by the Royal Canadian Legion to support different charities for our veterans, we do not in anyway endorse the use of narcotics. please just be polite and honour our tradition
