RIP Author Michael Crichton

Nov 5, 2008 8:53 pm Report Abuse

Ok, for people who don't know who Michael Crichton is, he's one of the all time greatest writers and many of his books have transpired onto the big screen. Jurrasic Park and The Andromeda Strain are a couple of his works you may be familiar with (or more likely their film versions). As well he was the creator of the tv show, ER. I've been a big fan of his for a long time, and was very saddened to wake up today and find out he has passed away from cancer. This is a definate loss to the literary community, and the film community of which he was both heavily involved. RIP.
