Pokerstars satellites and T$'s....questions about FPP's

Nov 5, 2008 7:20 pm Report Abuse

Hi,
I used to play a fair bit on Pokerstars but since have become a Fulltilt fan mainly due to a preference for their mtts. I would like to know more about the Pokerstars satellites and Tourney Dollars. If you win a satellite on Stars, are you able to 'unregister' and keep the 'Tourney Dollars' in your account? Can you use these tourney dollars for anyother tourney entry or does it have to be for the tourney you won the satellite for? Do you have to try to sell your T$'s?

I'm very familiar with how it all works on Fulltilt.... just not very familiar at all with how it works on Stars. Can someone fill me in and maybe let me know what their experience has been on Stars.

Question #2.... what satellites/tourneys are decent to play on Stars with FPP's? I'm aware of the Million Dollar Turbo Takedown running each month (approx. 1/3 getting paid nicely from a 5,000 FPP buyin) but what about others? Not interested in playing stuff like the 10FPP mtt (tried that when I first signed up on Stars... 3hrs. later I win 34cents!! lol. I've heard there are decent 210FPP tourneys/satellites. Any info. on them or where I should invest some of my FPP's into (don't tell me a Pokerstars 'hat'.... I already have one and don't like it at all,... they changed their hat awhile back, old one I liked,.. new one sucks imo... was a waste of pts.).

tks.

I do know that if you enter cash satellites, your satellite win can be used as cash. Not sure about the fpps, and their conversion.

When I play fpp satellites, I tend to continue on to the satellite. Although it seems to take 3 trips through satellites to actually get to the tourney you wanted in. Almost easier to buy in from jumpstreet.

luck, hope someone has more info~july

T$ are alowed to be used for any tournament, or SNG. Pretty much anything but cash games. You can sell them for cash, but shop around for a good rate.

Answer to question 1 is yes you can unregister and use it towards any tourney you want......cannot be a cash table. Question 2 is a little more difficult....but the best I have found to date are the sunday hundred grand satellites.....70fpp for 1 table...only 1 winner....the 210fpp is a 20 plyr...but 6 advance and get ticket....much better odds. They also have the Million Dollar Men promotion still on for the rest of this week and the payouts in Round 2 are quite nice. Good luck...KOO LOO KOO KOOO
