Why do so many people play bad aces?

I am just looking for some imput and or theories on why people play all of their aces. I guess I just don't understand why it seems many people can't fold an ace preflop in any pot, any situation. I have seen it a lot latly. For ex. I was playing the the ftops bb with kk 5 limpers 50/100 blinds. I raise to 550 I get two calls. One from middle pair one from (Ah) (2h) and unknown hand that folded after the flop. I understand calling the raise with the pp but the A2 throws me a lil. I am assuming that the other player in had an ace as well. I understand the a2 calling after the flop. I have no problem with that had a bunch of draws, heart draw, gutshot strait draw, I know people don't fold nut flush draws even if they pry should. I just don't understand playing a week ace to a raise if you hit what are you gonna do call it down? I mean what do you put the raiser on. I don't know how he can call a2 hearts to a raise to 550 from 100 for 10% of your chips preflop. I am not new to poker but I just don't see the value of playing a week ace in a raised pot. How does everyone else feel about it?

lol, THIS site and every other site is full of donkeys that can not fold any ace...i just dont get the point of getting into a poker community and not trying to get any better at poker................and as far as everyone else goes...i have no idea how and why you call with such garbage, and while on this weak ace rant......A 10 is not a good starting hand..........i swear to god if someone calls another raise i make with ace 10 i am gonna have to get a new laptop / rant
The same reason people call with any 2 suited cards, cuz 9x out of 10 they seem to get rewarded for it.
A10 isn't a good starting hand?
I'm guessing your not taking position, the amount of people in the pot or anything like that into account huh?
If its bad poker its bad poker every where.
I am just saying

Depending on position and price, I would like to see the flop with A 10.
A 6-9 are usually an easy muck for me unless its short handed. weak kicker value and no straight possibility. Has to be suited for any chance.
A 2-5 low kicker value but at least you have a chance at a straight. Really depends on number of players at the table, opponent play and table position, but more often than not it hits the muck too. Prefer it to be suited.

I don't know why people insist on playing weak Aces ,
I even had a guy throw a fit at me one day because he lost
with A2 to my AQ , he kept saying what was he suppposed to
do he had and Ace he couldn't fold lol , I listened to him go
on for a while and I finally said yes FOLD , what was a 2 going
to beat exactly ,playing weak Aces is just asking to lose , gl
