O.k. today seems to be an influx of birds who are upset and complaining about the new rules for recieving passwords.
First I'd like to say that everyone was made aware that the rules were changing. It is not our fault that you did not open any other of your pm's that didn't come from railannouncer, or that you don't spend enough time on here to read the blog that has been on the front page for the past week and a half.
Second, we really aren't asking for a whole lot from anyone. Just some increased activity on site, whether that be blogs, commenting, uploading things for whatever. Really it's not that difficult and doesn't take much.
Third, I'm not buying the whole I work and don't have time to be active, I have a life, I have real world things going on or whatever other excuse your deciding to use in order to not be active. Simple fact is that if you have the 1-7 hours available to devote to playing a RB game, then you have time to be active on this site. Here's some tissues for your issues.
Sorry if this bothers those of you with an issue, but your not getting any sympathy from me on this one.

but until today they never posted a single thing....so now when they get no PW they start spamming out the blogs and comments....
mostly composed of drivel about how they didnt get PW and how thats not fair because they've been contributing for a long time here ???
even saw one of em that started posting on their own message board....
maybe if we're lucky...some number of em will give up and go away......even better....if railbirds was to make it even a little harder to start getting, and some higher threshold of continuing activity to get the PWs
I agree 100 % , I am one of those people who really isnt has active has I would like to be due to my job and other things going on, but I do enjoy this site and if we can make it harder for PW thiefs from crashing our party I am all for being a little more active to continue to enjoy what we have to offer here .

I play the freerolls all the time. Its not for the money ( I've won maybe $10.00 over 2 years) I actully chat with the people I play with not just posting on a blog or commenting on someone's latest thoughts on whatever. Active can mean I play the quiz. or check out whatever else might be interesting on the site.
I don't feel that playing the game is given much credit here and you rather have big social site that happens to talk about poker.
Honestly, are the freerolls that crowded? Has anyone who wanted to play actually not been able to get in a tournament?
Then an email is sent to keep it to a minimum about the new focus on the pawsswords. Almost all the chat is about is about passwords and qualifying.I guess there is more participation now though.

And we have all known about this for a while now, so any whining being done just means someone not reading blogs or cking the really important pms (yes the important ones don't contain pw's) and I may not post a lot of blogs but I do have the common courtesy of reading blogs and commenting..... sheeesh,,, how hard can that possibly be??? I"m not being sarcastic in the least ,just truthful.

I have never seen so many "new" faces on blogs since the FR started. Good to see so many active birdies.
Congrats to the RB team for coming up with this new rule.
Well watchdog there rppl that really don;t have much time to do alot of the site. I am not 1 of them BUT I do know ppl that work 12 hr shifts and then sleep. They try to play 1 game if possible 2 games in a week. so I can't really agrre with every 1.
Plus, what if U PM every1 to reply to a blog. Does that show u active?
I am not 1 to speak up much on issues but in this case I did.
