yeah i cant wait to watch it, i've been watchin it everyday this week building up to the final table.... I need to get to vegas to play next year!

well it will be a final table, the final nine anyways

i think they are playing it down to 6

Too bad it's a week from tomorrow night on ESPN. The final tabel is being played Sunday 11/9 and televised Tuesday 11/11.

The nine players who qualify for the final table at the 2008 World Series of Poker will return to Las Vegas in November to play for the title.

That's a change from previous years, when the finals were played a day after the field got down to nine players. That is scheduled to happen on July 16.

With this change, the players will return to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, which will host the event, on Nov. 9 to begin the final table. The "heads-up" final will start "late in the evening" on Nov. 10, with a champion crowned Nov. 11.

Television coverage of the finals will be shown on ESPN starting at 9 p.m. ET on Nov. 11."

should be awesome, 1st time being live!!

actually the last couple of years it was televised live on pay per view, and a couple of websites had it streaming live for free on the internet. I watched some of it, there is a reason poker is edited for television, as it was pretty boring, and it can take a veeeeery long time.
