Good Bye Railbirds/Poker

Nov 3, 2008 2:32 am Report Abuse

For reasons I won't really go into (mostly that poker was ruining my life, lol), I have decided to quit poker. I tried to turn the money on my account into a really big sum quickly to cash out, but realize now that I should have given it to Railbirds. I am sorry. Obviously, I lost it all....mostly to bad play considering how distraught I was, but variance didn't help either. I have had a great time playing with all my Railbird friends, and I will miss you all. Maybe I will check in and say hi, but chances are...well, no. All I have to say is GG Poker!

Henreiman

PS: You have NO idea how good it feels to uninstall Full Tilt after all the grief it has given me, lol.

sorry to hear you have had problems with poker. I am glad you realize it and are taking steps to get your life back in order. Best of luck and take care.

Glad to hear that you recognized that there was a problem. This game should be a game of recreation, not addiction that causes you to try to get rich quick.

Hope you stay around to vist from time to time.

I think ButtonDog summed up poker. Sorry to hear you had such a loss. Do pop back and forth to say hi to us though. You have many friends here.

Ironically, I didn't lose a single cent...this had nothing to do with money, just that I spent too much time on the computer ignoring family and friends. When your own family starts to think you have an addiction, and you swear you don't, it's time to go
