thats a great idea..... i already have...but the idea is great

I got nutin on PS cept for 2 FPP's


wit 5 i wud go in to a 2 +.20 SnG

at the same time i wud go in to a 1+.10 45 man turbo SnG

with 1.70 left i wud go in to another 1 + .10 SnG but a 1 table double or nothing game...

and with the remaing 60 i wud most likely go in to a .2/.4 FL hold em cash game


i think thats a good plan that wud deff bring back profits....and if i double up to 10 i promise to make a contest such as this

Nice idea... I have nothing on ps or ftp atm, in a slight dry spell.

I would use the money only in low $1 sit and go's or dimers until I make more of a bankroll to use in larger sit n go's. I would probably play in single table games to build up easily before I venture for more challenging mtt's.

is the 8 pennies i have from fr winnings too much to enter?? i have never made a deposti anywhere,,and have some money at a few sites,,ps is 8 pennies,,,?

i would like to "be like chris" and go from 0 to 10k!!!! chris ferguson is doing that on ft..gave me the idea..id take 2bucks and play the one penny 2 penny hi/lo game the other 3 would go to sngs, and rb tournies,,probably just the rb tournies to show support,,,id be a bit tight in the hi/lo and bolt if i double the 2 bucks and go back with 2 again,,and again,,till i reach 20,,if i win the tournies?? well that depends on my stack,,play some holdem then and micro levels till i can make a couple hundred,,i took 7 bucks and some change to over a hundred at citypoker from frs,,and got drunk decided to up the stakes,,wasnt paying attention and went totally bust!!!! NOW that I will not do,,a beer or two fine,,couple drinks? OK
but a 5th of whisky??? Not in this life ever again,,i was soooo proud..then just dumped it away like ,,,well like words i wont use here,,might be kids learning to play,,,so there it is,and member,,i do have 8 pennies on PS fr winnings,,

hello, i f i win i will play the first dollar in rbs, guaranted,than i would probably sit at the multi-table 1.75 NL omaha hi/lo, with the rest i would play in dimers and .02/.04 omaha hi/lo. if i were to get this oppurtunity i will do the same for another newbie railbird, as i can see the TRADITION MUST GO ON.......... to get help and to help others. well good luck to me, and evryone else hope to see you around the felt......

Hello I'm eazymony......I unfortunately have no $$ on poker stars. I think winning your contest would be one of the coolest things I've ever won, it seems like a really awesome thing u guys started. If I was the lucky one chosen I would start out at $1- 9 person sit n go and hopefully work my magic from there. If the luck runs out there I would have to resort to .2/.4c limit. I too if I can turn a profit will run a bankroll starter contest also.

I would like the starter bankroll of $5 dollars because I just simply love poker. I usually just try and the freerolls to try and build up my bankroll but lately I haven't been doing too hott. If I won this 5 bucks, I would probably start off with a 1.20 sit n go and see where I go from there. If I won, I would do a 5.50 sit n go and hopefully build it up more. If I lost, though, I would either hit up the 5. .10 tables, or get in the nightly 3.30 triple shootoout (those are my favorite).

I believe i would be a good person to recieve the $5, because on Full Tilt Poker i started out on freerolls,

And a few months ago i finished 4th in the $24k Gurantee

Winning $2.5k

$0 - $2.5k i was very pleased with that

So giving me the oppurtunity on Stars would be great to try and mirror

what i did on Full Tilt Poker.

I would start by playing Micro stakes nlh cash games.

Once i had built up a bit,

I would then progress onto Tournaments.

the reason i would like to enter is i would like to start a br on ps, the strategy that i would use with $5 is to enter $1.10 Double or nothing then when i hit $100 would donate $20 to ppl to start their br on stars

Well i would want it because well i always am down on luck :P even though i do get cash i uually get bust because of some stupid play. I would like tha 5$ just to i don't know... Maybe keep in there to play railbirds tournaments. However Just as you did with that 5$i would also be the same and every x amount of money i make i will make a new contest. that is all :P

I have many notes from watching many micro SNG's. I would enter $1 SNG's until I reach a $100 Bankroll. Upon, getting to $20 I would love to give back to someone else as you have here. If we could all do this and help one another build our bankrolls. This world would be a better place.

my name is bbui11 on pstars. and i have 0.00 in my bankroll, if i got the five dollars to start off, i would enter a 5/10 cent limit omaha hi/lo table, as this table is just about suitable for the bankroll that i would have. if i were to play an sng. i would most likely play a 2. 20 heads up sng because to me it would have the best percentage of winning money.

I have 3 cents with 0 FPP in pokerstars...

With $5 I would grind it out in the 360 plyr 10 cent sngs and the scheduled 10 centers. I would continue at this until my bankroll increased to a larger amount, and then I would generally follow Ferguson s rules on bankroll management.

I think I can be successful I just need to be careful with how I manage my money and never enter a game that is over my head.

i don't even have fpps on stars, been tryin to grind out hubbles or other freerolls, but nothing yet. one round 2 ticket, which i'm always busy on the wknds. I would play a fwe of the 1.10 double or nothing tournyes, heard that's a great way to start a bankroll. when i get up to double my money (10 bux), i will run a similar contest and give back to all the other birds looking for a start.

Great idea for people who have 0 in their bankroll. If i could get a head start with this 5$ addition, i would play 3 double or nothing and hopefully cashing then play a 2.20 heads up since that is what my strength is...Once i built a good bankroll, maybe 50$+, i would send back 20-25$ to those who helped me and need help getting started with money....The unfortunate thing, is that I have a good bankroll now so i don't need the money but i have a friend who is just starting out.

hey i currently have 0.00 on FT and 0.00 on PS lol i am not doing very well in freerolls, i get pretty far but end up busting out near the $$... i am a very solid and good poker player though, i do know when to hold em and know when to fold em (sometimes) lol......but if u did pick me to win the 5 then i would use it to play either 1.10 9-18 man sit and go's and possibly play very low limits on the cash tables... maybe buy in for 50 cents on the .02/.04 limit tables or buy in for 1 dollar on the .01/.02 cash tables... if i gain a profit to where i am able to afford it, i will promise to do a bankroll starter contest as well!! so please pick me, i wont let ya down

ive been on pokerstars for about 9 months and never made a deposit. no money so after about 4 months they just gave me $5 for no reason i suck so bad i lost all but .06 cents on the first day but my game has improved i know you said 0.00 in your account so if you find someone in need of the $5 thats great but thank you for you generousity.....peace

I would asume that I I had $5 on stars I would start on 10 x10 cent sng = $1

that would leave me $4 so i could have enuff to play like this

I would play 2x .1 .2 cent tables so I wasnt risking a whole lot at once I could have enufff to lose my $1 if it came down to it but I would sit and wait for someone to don off in to me so I could get my $1 dubbled up and from there I would stay on the same type of system.So I was never out of my bankroll and hopefully that would buil my bank up a little at a time I wouldnt move till I passed the $25.00 mark then i would move up one level of pay and try it there. Ifwas to lose $5 I would go back down and grind some more

And I must say that it is very hard to freeroll a bank on poker stars and just like you did I would wait till I was up and able to return the favor to another fellow railbird
