NOVEMBER GOAL???????????

i have set my goal for november

and that is to win the freeroll ranking for the month...i dont play the freerolls as a tool to build my bankroll, but as a practice tool for MTTs...i am awful in middle stages of cash MTT...i have built a good BR from scratch on the single table SNG tournies and lower limit cash tables...i have made the top 50 two months running now after recent renewed focus on the freerolls to improve my game...my plan is to spend about an hour a day at a cash table to keep money growing in my BR and spend the rest of my time playing the RBFR focusing on achieving this goal, this will lead to my next goal of taking the yearly ranking for 2009....in two freerolls so far this month i have finished 73 and 50....the winner for october finished with 4000+ points so i am 1/4 of a way to that mark so far...if i can continue tight, smart play i see no problem achieving this mark by mid month...my biggest obstacle will be my tight play itself...it often forces me into an all in situation at some point after the bubble is burst...for intance, todays freeroll i was down to about 15 BBs and called a healthy preflop raise with KJs... i hit my flush on the turn but he hit his full house on the river and that was it for me...id like to avoid this but many of my pushes to the final table depend on a coinflip situation such as this...he doesnt hit the river and im prolly on the final table, but he did and thats that...goals are very improtant to set as it gives you something to focus on and achieve and will build your confidence as you continue to reach goals and set higher goals for the future
