took down a home game

well last nght was the first time in a long time that I was able to play some live poker me and the wife went over to a friends house last night and played a little 6 handed tourney style poker. made some moves made calls from postion and next thing you know were down to 3 and i m the chip leader. took the wife out with and Ace 10 suited with a turned flush she was down to just 1 BB and was all in on her BB and I felt my hand was best so I pushed all in to isolate sure enough it was we were down to HU against A guy who I'd never played before so it was weird to look arcoss and actually see who I was looking at and not a computer screen. any ways I was delt ace 10 suited again about 4 hands later and and pushed all in he laid it down next hand he get an A 6 suited being short stack he pushed all in i have a 79 suited I called thought about it for a little while decieded to gamble and sure enough flop an open ended blank on the turn and flopped the card I need for the str8 to walk away with a cool 120 bucks well really after my buy in and the Wifes buy in was only 80 bucks profite but hey good to know my live game is still good and I ll take and extra $80 richer lol
