This is part of a comment left bye one user on a blog entilted why do straights beat 3-of-a-kind?

"Don't worry with your question here bud,.. although it does seem like you might be putting alot of needless energy and time into something that isn't too relevant as far as playing winning poker goes. Lots of other stuff you could put your investigative mind powers towards. Oh yah... don't worry about your question appearing simple-minded.... this forum site has a HUGE number of players who think they're good players but in actuality they are very weak, passive, poor players for the most part. A HUGE number of loose calling stations and rookies who way overvalue their hands and no little if anything about betting, position, etc."

When I am reading stuff like this it makes me wonder why I am even here. To me a site like this is to learn more about poker and to better myself. However; if, I am being told that i am a "weak, passive, poor player" why should I stay. I have been seeing more and more of this throughout the last months on here. This type of Attitude is just going to drive away players. Like me.

And for the young man who wrote the original response. If you dont like the play style of people than leave. Or take your sweet little time and write friendly blogs abbout tighting up, betting, position and other aspects of play style. Instead of criticizing people why dont you help them understand the game. BTW just in case you didnt know. You are playing ONLINE POKER for FREE or for VERY LITTLE MONEY, of course you are going to have people play you like donkeys. It is worthless money to them. O well. Sit back play tight and catch them.

It's funny how those who are so critical of others aren't the experts they think they are. Quite often these same people are barely old enough to play legally.

For some reason their table manners tend to be terrible as well.No class.

Some people make themselves feel better by putting others down.
Try not to let it bother you.

Don't let it bother ya...I believe that 90% of the birds are helpful and courteous...the other 10% just make a lot of noise...ignore them and eventually they will go away...Peace

I for one will say this, jp5457 don't let that drive you from here but it is your choice. There is more good here then bad, like you said this site is for learning to improve our own game and to help others do the same.

As far as the one that made the comment you are referring to ask the person this. If you are so great of a poker player then how many WSOP bracelets do you have? How many WPT titles do you have? How many big poker events have you won?

just another lonely person who has no one and nothing. so he does what he can for some kind of attention. Just ignore them next time instead of spending to much of your time on him.
