Wish me luck im gonna be a quitter

Nov 2, 2008 5:27 pm Report Abuse

well sad to say this bird smokes, have honestly since i was 10 yrs old (was allowed to smoke in the house) have quit a couple times (rather took a small break) but this time im getting a lil help from champix. Its a prescription pill so hopefully by next sunday this bird will be a quitter (u smoke up to one week on this pill then take it for 2 months and hopefully one should be smoke free)
not sure if i can succeed but im hoping all will wish me a little luck in this endeavor cuz i always remembered smoking in my life its a huge crutch
anyway (fingers crossed) good luck to all of you on and off the felt
luv MissD

Best of luck to you in kicking the habit....I used to chew tobacco and just finally went cold turkey and somehow managed to break free

I quit 1 year ago and it's the hardest thing I have ever done,I gained 20 lbs and don't eat anymore than I did before quiting. The only thing I can tell you is that you have got to make up your mind to quit.

The bad thing about it is I really enjoyed smoking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good luck!

as homer simpson once said, "going cold turkey isn't as delicious as it sounds!"

I smoked for about 10 years and quit.
If I can do it, you can, too. Stay strong!!!

Good luck.

Good Luck. I've been a pack-a-day for 25 years. Don't think I can quit, as least not right now. My dad didn't quit for good til he retired.

dont worry you will be able to quit. i know a few who quit using the gum and the patch. it really comes down to psychological battle with yourself.
Rashenoff Nov 3, 2008 2:20 am
