Well I started as a Railbird in Jan. with $10.00 that a friend transfered to me at Pokerstars. I played tight at first and slowly built up my bankroll. As I built it up I became more agressive and it worked. Built up to $180.00. Then last month the crash. I started to be way too confident and would call with about anything. If I built up a good chunck I would stay at table even if cards stopped comming. Went down to nothing lol. Why am I posting this you ask. Well not to cry over spilled milk. (I did get a hat out of deal so cant complain) The reason I am posting is to maybe help others and in writing down hopefuly review my mistakes. The first thing is when you are up good at a table and cards go bad LEAVE. You can say play super tight but for me when they turn cold they realy do. I will loose even with the best starting hands. The next thing is we all have those cant loose days, well do not be stupid and believe that they will be every day. That thought of just one more rebuy and all will change no matter how you play doesnt work. If a table goes bad for you you have two choices , WALK AWAY or Change tables. If Is just one player that keeps winning your chips no matter what your hand always beats you, maybe he/she is just having one of those cant loose days. WALK AWAY. You will be on TILT and that is not good. If you realy believe you are better, then take a chance BUT look at your self and make sure you are NOT on TILT. Can cost you lots. You will always see that player again some time and get them then. The last thing is on bad day go down to lower blind table NOT up I have been stupid that way as well. If I can just cash at the bigger table All will be ok lol. Doesnt work!!! Well enough for now hopefuly I will follow my own advice, just made deposit and am ready to build up bank roll again.
May the flops always be with you, and the river never cause you sorrow
