Yesterday I played in my first satellite to the tournament this afternoon. This was the easiest field I have ever played in. People smart enough not to play bad starting cards but not smart enough to lay down marginal hands. I was chip leader for 90% of the tournament and bullied everyone.
I made the seat and will play today at 4. Has anyone played in these? Is the field as easy as the satellite was? The top 4000 get paid and as of right now 7753 people are registered. Next week I may play in these satellites and if I place in more then one I will just unregister and keep the 500FPP.

Good for you! I was in it, but had a bit of bad luck (and poor sense), and didn't make it to the money. I thought it should have been fairly easy to get into the money...but not for me today.

Did you get flustered thinking about what the winner gets? I did--- always a failing of mine in a bigger tourney. It made me greedy--- and stupid. ...sigh...
