Two donks in London part 1

FIRST a warning, i am danish and my mothers tongue are "donkish" lol no Danish, so please forgive my bad English. Hope You all understand the most.. :.)

Last week i posted that i was going to London, United Kingdom (England) for a stay some days, and meet Buttmutt, tanatloc (railbirds), and a other poker dude from Canada as Buttmutt know. Buttmutt he had also company by hes two sons.

After some little morning stress in Denmark (Ballerup) because i had minor works to do in the office, and of course i missed my train for the airport and had to call a Cab/Taxi. So my trip to London started with extra expenses.. Lmao... I should just had knew how London was, then i had canceled the trip before calling that Taxi for 100$ ..

Well a quick flight in 1 hour and 35 min. i landed safe in Gatwick airport, i got my suitcase quick. 10 minutes later i sat in the train for London city and the hotel. And 45 min. i was at the South Quay DLR station, with my suitcases, never been In London before and as a Donk and tourist of course i had printed a map from Internet, where my hotel should be. LEFT i should go and so i did, but there was no "international" hotel and the map WAS useless.. So after i walked up and down the street and some side streets, for like 30 minutes, i gave up .. and started to ask People he he. Not many there new anything about a "international Hotel" as i when i finally found the hotel realized why. As the Real name was "Britannia hotel" the International LOL.

I got checked in my room at 8'th floor. A nice room and good view over the dock, BUT no Internet, as they had promised, in commercials ,. i phoned the reception and would see what they could do to get me moved for the 1st or 2nd floor, as there WiFi hot spot was in lobby at ground floor.

Good finally i should meet Buttmutt as had arrived with hes son. After a salute we vent off for the lobby bar and pizza in hotel as we all was hungry.

Here we saw a good Offer. .. Buy one pizza and get a FREE pin (as is a half liter Beer) for only 6,95 £
good one we take that we say to each other..

Mean while Buttmutt has phoned Tanaloc as would meet us in hotel. And told us wich pizza he would like. He took off for the Smoke Run, outside, (In London u may not smoke anywhere but directed places OUTSIDE) ... We called the waiter and ordered the "DEAL" 2 pizzas with beers and some pasta for me, with a beer no deal.. Then the waiter asked Buttmutt son wich beer u like for the deal regular Lager or Foresters ... And as buttmutt was not there. We couldnt aswer him that as told him, we didnt knew now but we would order the beers when our mate was back from beer run. .. He said okey..

Buttmutt returns we get our Pizza Tanatloc arrives. And we get the beers we like.. And then we ask the waiter for the check. And se NO DEAL, full prize for pizza 6,95 and full prize for all beers.. 3,5..

NO DEAL. And as pokerplayers we gotta ask why the we didnt had the good deal. Well the waiter told us we had, canncled the order for the DEAL as we didnt ordered beer and pizza same time and we didnt had ASKED FOR THE DEAL. What a rip off. ..... Get the hands out off our tourist pockets.. .. !!!

Well finally Buttmutt's older son had arrived to , and got some buger insted. NO DEAL... We left the hotel for a drink in a pub. and So we did...

And real donks have ears of course... Lmao.

We stayed in the pub for a while and got pretty pissed drunk.. Back to hotel and we got even more drunk, the rest of the nite i cant really remember (lol) and there for i cant report it..
