Question about rankings

Oct 24, 2008 5:10 am Report Abuse

I understand the whole ranking system, my question is what if 30 of the top 150 are non-railbirds?

only the members who did put their screennames from the pokerrooms on their page will get the points...so lets say if only 150 players get points and from that 150 are only 100 a member then only those 100 members gets points

non-raibirds don't get into the ranking system because they probably don't even have a profile here. in order to qualify for the monthly tourney rankings, their poker nics have to be listed on their pages. so this is not possible.

yep so basically all those points are wasted. which sucks but what can you do accept try and bust them out if you can find out they arent a RB. gl and play on.

We don't have it in our system to be able to automatically move everybody up a notch. We have to finish in the top 15% to be ranked. It would be a headache to make it top 15% of registered railbirds.

If you go to the rankings, click on one of the players names it will show each tournament they have played in. Click on that tournament and it will show where each railbird that has registered their screen name finishes. By checking that tournament you get a pretty good idea of how many crashers or unregistered screen names played that day.

Tonight's Full Tilt tournament there were 6 in the top 12 without their names registered. None of them received points.

So not only are they stealing our money...but there taking points from us!!!! oh well, This is still the best site around and being a railbird is a great thing. The thing that gets me is this is probably the easiest site to get a password from if you are a member. I don't understand why people just don't join.
