I can , I sit and watch them go all in a lot , they are gone very

soon , the blinds aren't worth squat early on , if they want to flip

it I let them , there are lucky flippers in all freerolls everywhere ,

just wait them out , gl

easy to go allin with any 2 cards why call with Ace high thats really all big slick is your behind tons of hands and need to catch 6 outs even to beat 22 if you not going to wait for a PP or even to have pot odds to call you really caNT COMPLAIN ABOUT BINGO PLAYERS.

You will find that many of these donks are Freerollers who are not even RB's and get the PW from the thief sites. Oh don't forget that donks win way to often early on and AK is not a made hand by any means. I had one at my table today that went allin everyhand stealing blind after blind and winning a few. I got TT on button his BB and raised pot he pushed again and I thought about it for a few and called. He had AK this time and pow I doubled up when everything was low.

You have to expect that in freerolls. It's just better off to let those players weed themselves out. They just hope to either get lucky on the board or pick up the blinds and any raises if there are any. It being a freeroll they don't care to lose, none of their money is invested. It's sad to see it in Railbird Freerolls, since this is a poker community. I say that because I don't consider them poker players. I understand that it's a freeroll and big deal if you lose. But why not play for the love of the game and play the right way? Unforunately that is way too much to ask and there will always be a group of players like that in every freeroll.

Really, I am always glad to see these players at my table. I can usually collect their chips. It ok they get lucky sometimes but not most of the time. Besides they weed themselves out soon enough.

There should be put in place a rule that if you are not a Railbird member and got your password on the up and up then you are not able to collect any prize money. Even if you play and win a Railbird tourny.

a hem, I beg to differ sir, one at your table is not " so many donks at railbirds", the legal limit for using the term " so many donks at railbirds " is officailly 3 per table.

If you only had one ,than that can be described truthfully as " a donk at my railbird table"

Please refrain from exaggerations and adjectives to enhance sympathy from now on.

Peace, J

Typically you will have more inexpierenced, or unskilled players in a freeroll, and if they knew any better, then they might play better ! ..... but, they don't and you are stck with them, at least for the first half an hour or so !

....Tc....

J, you are right on , as usual. Actually, the donkeys can make the game interesting to...according to how the cards come. Bottom-line, you are going to have more Donks in freerolls or low buy-in games, so deal with it or play higher buy-in games. And, there are alot more Donks than railbirds. My best, Wally

...and then there is Gus Hansen....
No one can deny he is a "real poker player". I have seen him use this exact strategy early in a game (one of those televised things that I suspect may have been a "FR" for the poker " stars quot.

There will always be some Hansen-wannabees in every game.

Try using your early-game energy to take notes on those who might actually make it into late play. That will just as profitable in the long run as an early double up!

You should have seren those two donks that somebody posted the other day that were playing at the railhaven table. There was a half million dollars in real money in the pot. The pocket 5's beat the pocket 3's. The loser immediatelly bought back in with $50,000 in real money.

Those guys can stay with their big buy-ins. We don't need those kinds of donks in our freerolls.

Got no real problem with Donks in Freerolls (or in general really)

1.) They may be new and no know the finer points of poker. With no one to tell them they just don't now any better.

2.) Lucky Street isn't only a street in Donksville. There is one in every city. And it's a two way street. For every hand they win by going all in early, they would have lost 7 more before hand and gone out early.

3.) I'll try and play like a donk occasionally in a tournament. As I play online for about 4+ hours a day, I'm sure a few people have either played against me previously or even earlier that night. As such, I'll just change my style a bit. Keep 'em guessin.

4.) Someone always has to lose. This isn't just about poker. i mean how boring would it be if EVERY Basketball/Baseball/Soccer game was just the best 4 teams all the time. Sure it would be fun for a while, but it would get boring pretty quick.

5.) Poker is a long term commitment. Sure you may lose in the first few hands to President Donk. But over a longer period of time you should win more hands/pots/games than they ever will (Unless you are actually a Donk yourself but have recognation issues!!).

Thanks for reading some thoughts from The Fuzz'

That sucks. But you know you was putting yourself at risk early in the tournament with ace high, it was likely that he had 2 live ones if he was pushing every hand. AK doesn't win every time and it seems these sites do reward bad players more often than good. I just wait to bust the idiot when I get the goods or let someone else try to with those AK AQ hands.
