A bit of back luck in the RB Tourney last night.
First, I want to apologize to the birds at my table last night. Going into the 3rd break with only 34 left in the tourney, I sat out the rest of the tourney. I know that the peeps at my table thought what is this guy doing. I had the chip lead at the table at the time, when we went into the 3rd break and I never sat back down.
I had gotten up to get a drink and as I was returning to take my seat, bammmm the power went off. I thought oh no, the tourney paid 27 places and I had enough chips I could have easily made it to the money and maybe deeper. Instead I blinded out at 28th (On the Freakin Bubble, LOL). Oh Well, better luck next time. The power didn’t come back on until 2 hrs later.
Could you call this a bad beat story? I think it was a bad beat by Mother Nature, lol. Anyways, I just want to let the table know, I wasn’t sitting out on purpose.
