MrMeanys Challenge 2U Games

I don't have many rules for my games ... actually only one ... be polite (I know this is hard fro some people) ... if you invite them to my game ... ask them to be polite ... i.e. ... if they wouldn't want it said to them ... then don't say it ... that simple. Yes at times some things said that are rude can be construed as funny ... but when you really mean it ... thats when it cuts the most. I've been the short stack many a times ... and hearing someone tell the SS that they should just give up and leave so we could reach the final table ... it didn't sit well with me. A game of poker wouldn't be poker if the short stacks just gave. Hell life wouldn't be any fun if the SS's all gave up ... you wouldn't want anyone to tell you to give up when you are trying your best, and have gotten a few bad beats ... so why say it to anyone else ... but then again ... if you give up just because you think you've already lost ... come sit at my table and give me your chips please.

All in all ... since I started this in August ...(woot coming up on 90 days) I've been very pleased with how my games have been going ... only two or three little blowouts that I know of (don't watch every table ... I'm there to try to win ... but if told about it ... if I can fix it ... I try to) . It has suprised me about my own game play ... I've spent 90+$ from an account that I only deposited $50 into, have held 2 free rolls that equal the amount I deposited, have 25$ out in loans and am still in the pluss margin .... so either all those lessons I have learned or been told about in the past 5 years are starting to kick in .. or I'm just on lucky guy LoL.

TY all again for those of you that have come to support my games each night ... no promises (I have to take care of the winners first). I will be holding one Free Roll for all those that have placed in the money this month in my games sometime before the middle of next month (you will be preregistered as all I really have for most is their FT account name) ... if I can ... I will also hold one special tournament for all that have played my games this month ... not much ... but a token of appreciation. After that ... If I'm feeling rich ... I will also hold a Free Roll for each of the leagues that I belong to ... just so they don't feel left out ... only this time ... I will schedule it for a time when the majority can come play. Its not big money ... but if I do get the money up ... come play, if for nothing else .... to give your buddy hell.

Great blog, Meany. I know I was inadvertently apart of one very small one, and I quickly apologized to you. I love your games because they're fun and full of mostly good competition. But most of all, they're fun. Thanks again, Meany, for having these games and being such a stand up guy. Take care and see you soon.

Always have a good time at your games. For the most part people are much nicer than in other tourneys and the competition is good too. Appreciate all you do.

I have been witness to only a couple of skirmishes, and they were resolved b4 the end of the tourney. Most ALL of your games are very fun and pleasant. You're a very giving and great host MR Meany

Thank you all for you great comments, I really appreciate them and am glad to hear that you are having as much fun as I am scheduling and holding them. Playing with great players has become an addiction, so I'm sure this will continue for quite sometime Thank you all for making the end of my day that much more enjoyable

MrMeany my friend I have been privilaged to be a part of your games many times. Not as often as I would like, but still I always enjoy them and really appreciate ur efforts in keepin them up.
Sad thing is, at almost every game I have attended there has been at least on person who has no business opening their mouth. And in fact the last time it was you that were attacked. I so wish these "keyboard warriors" would stop bringin their bitter attitudes and vicious/malicious attacks to your tables. Or any table for that matter. It has no place in the game or in life. My momma always told me " if you ain't got nothin nice to say, don't say nothin at all".
I hope you will continue these games and keep the faith that one day nice guys will win one.
