UPDATE!!!!!!! Prayers NEEDED please!!

Hi all.

My Grandma just turned 92 in July and is in very good health
other than a failing Heart Valve. After a series of tests
and screenings over the last month....as well as meetings
with Heart Specialists and Surgeons... she has decided to
go through with her Heart Valve Replacement Surgery.
She will be in the Hospital for about 1 week and then go to
a Nursing Home (therapy portion of the Nursing Home)
for 4-6 for recovery as well as to keep an eye on her
progress and infections, etc.

Her surgery is tomorrow, Oct. 14th at 5:30 A.M.


I am very concerned and stressed to say the least...
I am an only Grand-daughter and she is my best friend.
So, I am asking that if you believe in God, to please pray
for her and her recovery and well-being.

on my Grandma's face.

UPDATE:

I am going to copy and paste this from a message i replied to earlier... just to keep you all posted as well as THANK YOU for praying and for the comforting thoughts and words.

I JUST got home after 18 hours of being at the hospital. The surgery went well (so the surgeon said) but my grandma is not able to breathe on her own and she is not coming out of the anistesia (or however you spell it) so... there are complications obv and I am pretty stressed to the gills and very worried. I waited all day at the hospital (they told us that they were waiting for a room to open up... all friggin day.. her surgery was completed at 11:02) and didn't get to see her until 9 pm and she looks so frail and weak... I'm pretty devasted right now. I am going to get a couple hours of sleep and be back there by 5 am... I am hopeful when they take her off of the breathing tube in the morning.. that she will be able to breathe on her own.

Thank you for your continued prayers and thoughts. It means a lot right now.
